I started working at dominos in another city where I was verbally abused daily by high schoolers also my manager who cut my hours for forgetting cheesebread once in a while. While his cooks and he would sell and smoke pot on the job, while I have no issue with this behavior, it's not appropriate in the work place. Subsequently 3-10 pizzas a night would be wrong, outweighing my mistakes by a longshot.

So after I couldn't survive on the hours I was getting I complained to management, who transferred me to a worse store where the manager was fat rude and stupid. He broke rules by letting his married girlfriend work there, and would acost people for fun. One day he grabbed my throat and pushed me against a wall. I quit a eventually lost a car and now with my recent work history looking bad, it's difficult to find work.

I would kindly ask that you stop killing yourselves and boycott pizza altogether, make your own at home. It wont be filled with random dirt and dust either from the makeline never being cleaned, and the ungloved dirty hands from ten different people touching your undercooled food. BOYCOTT EVERYONE!

Listen here buddy. It sounds like the problem here is very obvious. You are just a pansy. This is actually a common issue now a days so dont feel like you are alone. There are many others like you out there. It sounds like you are letting Dominos ruin your life. Not good my friend. Snitching on your co-workers will only get a slug to the dome where I come from. You are probably from "the sticks" and are used to getting abused. Dominos is a fun place to work. If you dont like it get the F out. Go jump off a bridge or something. Thank you.

I was a employee for almost 5 years. The owner here is Chuck Rice and his his wife Debbie. A lot of horrible things they let thier managers do to us drivers and no reprimands at all. A manager they had in the South Main St. store was caught in the act of having sex with a young female employee in the food cooler, on top of the food, another manager was having phone sex with a employees wife on company time, a shooting in another store, cutting hours for family and friends, theft, the list goes on and on.

I and a few of the honest employees contacted corporate. Things started happening then. Then corporate was satisfied and they went back to Michigan and it got bad again. When they started cutting my hours down I almost lost ny home. It didnt help to say anything to the accountant, Carl Daily. He was as crooked as the owners. I finally got out of the hell hole when someone broke into my wifes truck on company time and robbed it. Bad place and bad people to work for.

I was an employee of a Domino's for almost 5 years. I was a driver as well in small town. I had a good boss/owner.

If you where grabbed by the neck, you should press charges on that person for assault. Contact a lawyer, it sounds like you have a good cause for pushing that that manager made for a hostel work environment as well, which is against the law. You need to make sure you do not let the statue of limitations run out on all the people that harmed if you. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to prove it in court.

When someone grabs you and throws you against the wall, that is the time to call 911.

Your right about the frozen pizza thing and stores being more dirty. But if some idiotic thug wanna-be cut your hours for MINOR mistakes which are easily taken care of through customer service which happen every day by every employee! Nobody is perfect and I was not a write-upable offence at any time and i said in my write-up under objections why it wasnt deserved but the real reason was he didnt like me because of a family member he didnt like from school, so he made assumptions about me, so while in plain view of other employees he sold drugs to his stupid thug friends who he let into the back office to sell to. So its no wonder I get a gun at my back and the store gets robbed when he has criminals coming into the store all the time buying drugs. So as I was down to 5-15 hours a week from 32-35 and objecting with total honesty he continued to exploit the stress I was experiencing from living with fellow employees not paying there bills at home leaving my credit in tatters, to a gangster lowlife driving a nice car off tax free laundered money. While I lose my car and home because Im emotionally driven away from my job, not knowing what to do thinking i could move on and find another job but this bad credit issue is holding me back now that good jobs and insurance unjustly bases hiring on credit. America must fundamentaly change, I have seen firsthand the psychosis in the minds of these so called americans about themselves, whatever caused this, rich parents, mean parents, rap music? i dont know, you have too much, you understand too little, and you dismiss rightiousness for temporary gain, you all need to wake up to your existences and GROW UP! If you think your exempt, you are the most deceived, im not discluding myself. Stop hurting me I never deserved it! I have millionaires who praise my very hard work abilities for them, I can always prove myself good without this nation or humanity! Good luck.
p.s. tristan- sorry to offend you im sure your store is much better, though its not corporate I believe.

I totally understand and see the perspective in which you are coming from, however, I do find it unfair that you group ALL dominos together. To say that they should boycott EVERY single dominos is just ridiculous. I work at the one in Plymouth and I have never seen a more clean or friendly store. We sterlize every 2 hours, as well as sweep up and clean off ALL the tables including the make-line and EVERYONE washes and sterlizes their hands numerous times throughout the day. We even have those little hand brushes to make sure EVERY bit of dirt and grime are gone. The delievery drivers (Which I am) are even required to sterlize their hands. I love where I work and I would recommend it to ANYBODY who wants pizza delievered or for carryout. My bosses are friendly as are the staff.

Think about this, you said before that people should just start making their pizzas at home. First off, how many people do you think touch those frozen pizza's you buy at stores? How clean are those places? I'm sure they come from HUGE factories in which cleanliness isn't always supervised. You don't know if the person who packaged the pizza sneezed and wiped their noses then decided to touch the pizza. They may not always have their hairnet on tight enough or they may cut themselves mid-way and finish the packaging before they put a bandage on. At least at a smaller store you can WATCH the pizzas being made and make d**n sure that nobody is doing anything disgusting or unhealthy. Everything is fresh, everything is kept at the proper temperature and everything is clean and sterile.

I'm sorry for the crime that took place against you, and that's what it was, a crime. Because anybody who places a hand on you, with any intention of harming you, is assaulting you. Employer or not, this should be dealt with by the proper authorities. If corporate won't do anything, then do like the other guy said, and go to the Health Department. If that doesn't help ease your anger, call the local police department and fill out a police report and put that b*****d in jail where he belongs. Or at least make him pay a large fine. Hell, if he gets charged with a felony, 90% of the time, people are fired for having that on their record. ESPECIALLY if it's a violent offense.
Please, don't take your wrong-doings out on other stores. Just because those aren't the healthiest or safest places in MN doesn't mean that the other stores aren't. Try to keep this in mind when ranting. Just thought i'd put in my thoughts. Thanks.

Get in touch with someone from corporate. They had no reason to fire you so I would call and make a major complaint. If they laugh at you call the board of health up. Board of Health will shut their asses down. And when you call ask the company about the delivery charge.

Just don't mention my name about it.

I contacted every corporate manager who laughed at me basically when I complained about everything I stated above. They are covering for them when they know they are bad managers. They are doing this because one said, "if I fire them, who will fill the spots" Answer: many others more qualified. The edina store was audited over series of a year and when from miedium grade to low grade to 0 grade. So edina and west bloomington BOYCOTT DOMINOS NOW! And call and ask questions about the cleanliness of the stores.

You Need To Contact A Regional Manager

Dude, if people are lighting up the hash on the job, you needed to report that to higher-ups. Like the regional or district manager. I'm not ripping on you, because I think you had to tolerate a lot of stuff on the job. But had I known tht people were in direct violation of workplace rules, such as the solitcitation and/or use of drugs, physical violence, or a violation of employment policies, you need to inform district management. If they won't listen, take your complaint to corporate. You have rights as an employee; use them. Hopefully you'll keep that in mind, next time something like that which you descirbed comes up.
