Done Right Automotive Inferior Products and Deceptive Workmanship Sevierville Tennessee

 I took my wife's car in for rear brakes. Cost was to be 99.00. They came back out and said the wheel cylinder was bad and going to cost approx. 185.00 now. I told them I could not afford it right now and to get it ready for me to leave. I was then told there would be a charge to put the old brakes back on. With their labor rate I was stuck. Fix the brakes here or go elsewhere and cost me additional monies. They installed the brakes. Since then I have had the car in 3 times because of a squeak when braking for a stop. Each time they said they sanded the brakes and it has to be done sometimes. Still happened, my wife then took it in and was told now it needed the drums turned. Additional cost. Plus the fact I no longer have any confidence in them I took car to Rick's automotive for them to look at the car. I was telling them why I was there and 2 of the people over hearing the conversation all said you must of went to Done Wrong Automotive. They said that they get several customers a month with the same type complaints. After testing the car they took it to there shop for an examination.  I was then told that because Done Right had put on cheap brake shoe's that did not fit the car correctly that now my brake drums were bad and needed to be turned and Toyota brakes needed to be installed. I forgot to mention that they had exchanged out the brakes once and said they were defective. Anyway my bill from Rick's is going to be 195.00 to fix the mess Done Right has done. I went to Done Right and told the guy behind the counter I wanted my money back and forget this nightmare. He told me the owner was not there but would be in that day and would call me. It has been 4 days and I am tired.

Before all of this ever started I took my car to the other Done Right location and was told the cost would be 149.00 for the job. Before they got started I got to thinking the cost was to much and I would try to get the job done somewhere else. The manager there then told me he could do the job for 99.00. By then I was ready to leave and did so. That was when the nightmare above started.

I was telling 4 other strangers about my experience and all 4 told me of the same or similar problems they had with Done Right. I just want my money back and I will go away. IF not I plan to write a letter like this to the local paper and also run an advertisement in the same for others to come forward with the same type issue's with Done Right and file a lawsuit against them. I feel like with the response I already received about the work Done Right has done for others this will cost them a lot more than my 185.00

I should of known better when the man would not take a check nor a debt card for the work unless I was a member of his auto-club. I had to come up with cash on a Sunday morning to pay them.
