Dorothy Courten Courten & Villar, P.L.L.C. The absolute worst. Hauppauge New York

What a horrible, horrible and unethical attorney Dorothy Courten is. She uses lies, unethical legal processes to get what she wants. She deceived my ex wife with claims of what she can do, pitted and manipulated my young children against me all in a so-called family court of law.

It is nothing to her to come to court and outright lie to a sympathetic judge (Kerry Trainor) who most lawyers in his court say is bi-polar and has a thing with this woman Dorothy Courten. Trainor eventually was removed from the bench and forced into early retirement all because of numerous complaints on both of them. She manages somehow to have almost all her cases channeled to this judge. Why Dorothy Courten is still practicing as an officer of the court is still beyond me. She would come to court and lie about service of papers, use racist remarks without any reprimand from the judge.

She is prejudiced against minorities and a bigot to boot. At a point, my ex wife upon seeing through what this woman has not done with all the money paid to her had to find another attorney. My ex later sued Dorothy Courten to recover the monies owed her from lack of proper representation.

This woman and her law firm is the worst bottom feeders of the barrel. Unethical lawyers like her are the reason for the negative rap good attorneys get. Stay away from this law firm. They are the worst!!
