I too am experiencing poor service from Drive Financial. They call my home if I am more than a day late. I know for a fact that I do have a grace period. The hidden fees are ridiculus!! Right now I am trying to get a deferment for one missed payment, an email was submitted,...no response as of yet. It has been 48 hours. This company needs to be stopped!

Just yesterday(4/30), some guy called me @ work from there., the # that he called from was 469-385-5260. He stated that he was calling from the Corporate offcie in Dallas. Now, the call DIDN'T COME TILL AFTER I sent the email. He was saying that I was 90 days behind on my payments..no true. He also wanted me to verify my address where the car is being store. I refused to give up the infornmation and I asked him not to call my job again. Count me in for the lawsuit!

What are you complaining about?

AUTHOR: Dave - (U.S.A.)

You are late. They can do just about whatever they want to do. You obviously have a history of not paying your bills on time, otherwise you wouldn't be financed with a company like Drive. And all you're doing is proving to them that you deserve the horrible service and high interest by NOT paying your car payment on time. You've admitted it. You are even trying to defer a LATE payment.

Yes, this company sucks, but they financed you when nobody else would take a chance. Now, you're pretty much biting the hand that feeds you by not paying them as per the contract. You deserve the harrassment. If you pay on time, they won't call. Don't start crying that you're being treated unfairly. Pay your bills on time and you'd be surprised how nice your life will be.

Email Response

I am an employee here and unfortunately if your account is past due you should open the lines of communication with your account rep. Sending an email for an acct that is 30 days past due is not going to suffice. Call the 888# on your statement and talk to a live rep there is a certain criteria you have to meet to qualify for a deferment. You also have to send in paperwork and give verbal authorization because you are asking Drive to extend your maturity date by extending one payment. The best way to get informed is to speak to someone.

Hope this helped! :-)
