I started a policy and then recieved a email 8 days later that stated I had given them the wrong drivers licence information.

I repsonded and was told that because my licence was under suspension that e-surance would not start the policy for me in the first place.

This meant that they had not sent an sr22 form as of that time and it had been 7 days already from the date I strted my policy.

After hearing that it became my understanding that I would not be able to have e surance file an sr22 without me having a valid drivers licence and I cant get my licence to be valid untill I have a sr22.

And since I could not get e-surance with a without my licence actually beeing in effect previous to my policy start date that I was caught in the catch 22 instead of the sr22 like I needed.

I went to another company at this point and got sighned up no hassle.

When I call e-surance for a refund they are stating that I have coverage since the first of march (8) days and that they would only be able to pro-rate unless I have carried coverage elsewere.

Now I was able to prove coverage elsewere and because of this I was issued a refund but it was not untill I went through about 2 hours of demanding a manger.

Non the less my policy should have been issued a refund due to miss information and poor customer service delivered by poorly trained reps.

The fact that they would have held me responcible if I didnt have previous coverage
is hanus.

They clearly stated to me they do not insure un-licenced drivers and that they do not help people to get thiere licence back through sr22 unless you already have sr22 coverage and your licence elsewere.

but when I wanted to cancell they told me this was not true and that they could go ahead and help me but who cares because I already signed elsewere due to the poor service and miss-information

I had not even sighned my policy either but she said it was verbally binded over the phone.

Thats fine but I guess all the other miss-information they gave me over the phone was not binding, and when it comes time to screw me they will do it.

They simply never acknoleged their mistake and tyhe only reason I got a refund is because I slipped through the rules and poilicy of e-surance.

But they should have issued the refund based on thier miss informing me.

I spoke to glenda and some other really anoying customer service supervisor who doesnt know when to stop talking and start listening.

You know the type like a robot that just hears the keywords and produces a generic responce then when you get mad they ask you to remain professionalm you dont need to deal with that.

The customer is supposed to be right but we never are when dealing with fraudulant companies like esurance and thier poor reps like glenda and the other lady whos name I cant remeber because she pissed me off so bad.

Oh yeah and I was hung up on like 2 times before they would finally get away from the manager is in a meeting routine.

Do not go with e-surance there is no reason for it considering you might pay a few dollars more elsewere but you will get better customer service anywere else you go.

And you probably wont be miss-informed at your own expense.

Do not let Esurance hold you responsible for their clerical mistakes, there is no reason you should pay for that kind of treatment.

I will remove this post when e-surance send me a written apology letter and makes me feel batter about this.

Until then E-surance you can have this show right next to your name for as long as it takes for you to get your acts together.

I would also like to add that most other insurance companies do not have rip off reports here, and I now know why.

E-surance wont last long if they continue like this.

Oh yeah and who ever came up with the idea that when a customer asks for a manager to have your rep arrange a call back.

That is the mark of a shaddy comapany, you should always allow a customer to speak to a manager no questions asked.
