Elliot Management Group Ripped me off TOO $600+ Merchant Account Scams Corporate Headquaters In Salt Lake City Utah

FIRST- These people LIE and make you JUMP THRU HOOPS! BEWARE of EMG.

I signed up for a merchant account thru Elliot Management Group as a package that I set up with David Lacy @ EMG once I purchased Kennel Connection for my business.
What I didn't realize was that, when I got the software and it wasn't for right my business & I was ready to move on, I still had 2 1/2 years left on a 3year contract locked in with EMG that I was never informed of (other than in the small print on the back side of a carbon copy). This was the beginning of many problems I had with EMG.
I was told that I needed to full-fill my contract or pay a $300 cancellation fee. So I declined to cancel at that time and continued the service (which I used a handful of times in 3 years) to full-fill my contract- which once added up the monthly installment rate = the same as the cancellation fee over the period of time I had left.

I was told that I need to wait until the anniversary date in 2008 which I did.
So the anniversary date approaches and I call them to see what they need from me to cancel. I supplied the Letter and thought that would be the end of the direct withdrawals from my account. Oh boy was I mistaken.
Today May 29th 2008, after receiving 2 letters from them stating if I canceled I would incur a $300.00 fee for canceling. This was odd since everyone I spoke to (My rep, the receptionist & some random) said I could cancel on my anniversary date. So I called and played phone tag with the reps @ EMG never to hear back about this matter before once again withdrawing $300.00 from my account. It may not seem like much, but I am a pet sitter/ dog walker. Do you know how many visits that is that I busted my butt doing, for them to just take (its about 25 visits, about 15hrs of work) so that they could play Three Ring Circus with me.
Im waiting for a call from a manager tomorrow of course but I was told that not even a manager would refund the $300.00 they siphoned from my bank account today!
This isnt the last they hear from me.
