I agree with every one above. Especially with 'Toodles' and 'Diligent'. You didn't give any reasons for you argument. I find it hard to believe your story based on the little amount of details. Don't you think you should have wrote more? My brother met his amazing wife with this company which actually made me sign up. Since I did, I have met incredible women and have had amazing dates. This service is DEFINITELY a successful company and has tons of happy customers like me and my brother.

That's not a very long story. You didn't say anything that backs your story. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience with this company. Some of my close friends have seen this company's success. I myself have one of the greatest stories in dating companies. Every person I speak to has nothing but great, positive things to say.

After my divorce three years ago, I wasn't at all quick to get married again and was very unhappy. I tried to forget about it and move on but I was still lonely. For two years I was just trying to get back to my single life in the most mature painless way. I got over it pretty well but still wasn't too thrilled about the possibility of me being alone forever. With that, I checked out this company after hearing from my friend about just how successful they are in setting people up with the right person. Lesa in the San Francisco office was extremely welcoming and sweet. Not in the way that gives you the impression that she was only interested in your money. That alone gave the will to sign up and pay the fee. I spoke with her for about three hours during a very comfortable interview. I told her all about my divorce, about my ex-husband and about the guy I wanted to meet. I told her about my childhood and about how I grew up. I was very surprised on how she made me feel comfortable enough to make me tell her my whole life. She even offered me coffee, cake, and other really good snacks. As I left, she patted me on the shoulder and said I'll find you someone whether you like it or not. I left with a huge smile on my face.
About a week or so later, Lesa called me with a whole list of guys she found on her records that fitted my requirements pretty well. She told me about all of them and sounded very excited for me.
The first guy, Brian was great. He was smart, tall, dark skinned and very good looking. We had a great time but still, we weren't for each other. Lesa called me literally the next day ready to hear the feedback. I didn't have to hunt her down, she called me. Now that's good service. Anyway, she set me up with three more great guys who also weren't for me, but she was still great at finding me so many guys who were the kind of men I wanted. She did her job very well. I went out with the next guy (Gary) two weeks later and he was perfect. The date lasted seven hours. Lesa called me again the next day with great news. Apparently, he really liked me and wanted a second date. Lesa set us up again a week later. Well, the second date led to the third, the fourth, the fifth, and eventually Gary and I got married. It's crazy how a year before all this I was going through a really hard time and didn't want to get re-married at all. Just signing up with this company changed all that. Now I'm married to the greatest guy ever and am much happier with him than I was with my ex husband.

The truth is, is that pekin' does not have such a great argument. Like toodles' said, he just threw a bunch of words together to make a few sentences. You can't take that seriously.

I know a number of people that have had great dating experiences because of this service. I have never heard of anyone who has a REAL reason to complain about the overall membership. Not everyone meet their life partner after one date, but everyone that I know, really liked their dates. I know one woman (my older sis) for a fact that met her man on this service and I do know that she is very happy with this company.

Pekin, you just wrote a total splurb of a couple sentances. I am considering joining the service and I have come across several negative feedbacks that just seem totally misleading and not thought out. I came on ripoff report to find real arguements against the company and all I seem to find is a bunch of angry people who give no reasons that are logical to your anger. Am I to believe that you went a year with the service and your complaint is only a couple sentances long? It seems to me that there is more behind this story than what meets the eye...

I too met with Paige Grant and had Laura Wasserman as my matchmaker. I did not consider the meeting to be a marathon, in fact I thought it was a good way of getting to know someone before they joined. I assume they do this with all of their members so they can get to know them. After meeting with Paige, I went back a few days later and met with Laura, and another matchmaker who I can't remember. Everyone was friendly, attentive and I felt really comfortable.

My criteria for matches was really specific and at first I was frustrated with the matches. But I appreciated the personal touch they were giving to the matches. Specifically the feedback from the men I met. It turned out I was not as "appealing" as I thought I was. I guess I had become a little "hard" in my view of love and that was showing on my dates. I think it was difficult for Laura to tell me the hard truth, but if she didn't tell me I would still be having the first date that never calls back and not knowing why.

I worked on my attitude for the matches. Accepted more of them, instead of just rejecting them right off the bat. Took more time to get ready for the date, left my complaints about previous relationships at home and tried to remember what it was like when I was younger and it didn't matter so much. In the end, I've met some really interesting men that I would never have met in any other way. I am happy with the process and feel like I've grown a little as a person. I haven't met "the one" yet but I certainly don't feel ripped off. I think it has been a good investment and I would recommend this company to anyone who is serious about meeting someone.

It is nice to get the call, "I have someone I think you might like".
