Elite Personal Search represented themselves as having an extensive database in which they matched like people in PHoenix. I emailed several times and finally they responded with a "match" after I complained. The match wasn't really what I was looking for and when I questioned the match I was told that sometimes "opposites attract" which is completely opposite of their sales pitch..

I am now being transferred out of Phoenix and I'm having problems getting my contract dissolved despite no matches or dates ever being produced. I am moving more then 50 miles out of their range of services and should qualify for refund but I have heard very little since mentioning my company transferring me..

I paid an awful lot for thier service which I never recieved and now that I'm not able to use it I'm getting the silent treatment on how to resolve our contractual agreemnet together.. Can anyone help me?

Seeing a complaint like this is a bit frustrating at times. We have no contact information of the person that is complaining, nor do we even know if it's a legitimate client of ours. Many online websites like Ripoff.com, allow anyone to post complaints about companies, without a verification process or procedure in place. This complaint could have been filed from someone that is not a client of Elite Personal Search, or even a competitor trying to make Elite look bad. We would gladly address this persons complaint and would like to see why, if they were moving greater than 50 miles away, would this affect the matchmaking process through our organization? We are a national company with locations across the United States, so we would most likely, be able to match you from your new residence.  Elite also presents matches to you, and you have the option of saying "no" to each presented match.  It is very likely, if a client continues to say "no" to presented matches, that we take a different approach to the matchmaking process and start presenting people that are the opposite of what a client says they want, because of the fact that they continued to say "no to matches that were exactly what they said they wanted.  There is not an exact science to the matchmaking process, so each client needs to work with their matchmakers to ensure that we are on the right path. This is also what I just said, a process, so it will not happen overnight.  The average client needs to go through the first 3-4 matches for us to get a true sense of what they are looking for, in addition to how the people we are matching them with perceives them. If several of their matches are saying the same thing about them, then it is possible that they are doing something on their dates that is the reason why they are not being matched successfully.  We want to work with each client to match them successfully, but if they are impatient or do not cooperate with the matchmaking process, then it will be impossible for them to be successful with Elite. This may not likely be a legitimate complaint or this complaint could be from someone that is trying to make Elite look bad. If this complaint is legitimate, then Elite would like the person to please contact Guillermo at (310) 551-6600 so we can resolve their concerns and investigate their account. We hope to hear from Burned in Chandler, Phoenix so we can address their concerns.

I'm sorry that happened 'burned'.

You seem to have had an unpleasant experience with his company.
I guess it's pretty strange for me to hear that because I had an amazing
experience. I signed up about two years ago. I also wasn't happy at first. I asked
for a refund. When I did, they told me to just be patient or if I still insisted,
I would be refunded completely. I decided to go with option one and stuck it out.
Well, I'm happy I did because that decision led to me meeting my wife.

Again, I really am sorry for your unfortunate situation but I think
you should also go with option one. It'll pay off. You'll see.

stop being so negative. you'll get your money back. just be a little more positive.
my friend had a pretty similar situation. he paid the fee and was told that he would be set up with plenty of girls. after two months of dating ten different girls he moved to a different country. he told them of his dilemma and was refunded COMPLETELY a week later. that's number one

number two, my friend isn't exactly marriage material. setting him up with ten girls in two months is very good. they were all great girls but between me and you, he's not ready for marriage. that's his fault, not the company's. after getting a job offer in another country which was too good to pass, he asked for a refund and OH did he get it. 100%.

my brother also was a member until he married one of the first girls they set him up with. so, anyone who says they don't work has no idea what they're talking about. in your case however, relax and be patient. you'll get a refund.

Upon being transferred from Phoenix, Arizona and having NEVER USED the Elite Service I requested a refund and have been told that I need to provide a lease, utility bill or driver's license from my new residence. I am in construction and we're moved around the country on temp assignments so no lease, utility bill or driver's licenses are ever utilized. On some projects we use Extended Stay type motels but they are corporately charged. I am assuming that I will be able to provide my first several motel bills and have my contract refunded but I keep getting the same emails from Elite requesting the lease, utility bill and driver's license.. These people have obviously never work construction on the road. I have sent the contract to our corporate attorney and I'm working on providing at least some motel bills but it really bothers me that a company will take $5995 from you and despite warning them up front of this transfer possibility I am still be treated as if I'm trying to pull a fraud on them.
After reading through the internet on them I've found numerous other complaints on the inability to obtain a refund from this company. I have also found that Gia, my salesperson, made promises to me that her "staff" in California have no idea what she's talking about. I was promised use of a database along with the 10 dates for the rather high fee and nobody in California (Jennifer) seem to even know what this means.. There doesn't seem to be a database but when you eamil to complain about not hearing from them or recieving a match they suddenly have "just" found the perfect woman for you... Mine was a third grade teacher and I'm a Harley riding construction superintendent who works large union commercial construction. When questioned on the rather large difference in our lifestyles Jennfer told me that "sometimes" opposites attract... Totally opposite of what Gia told me when she took my money. She told me that eventually opposites fail because of the differences and they avoid these types of matches..
I spoke with the match they sent me and she mentioned that she'd had very little luck with them and had been on hold for several months. We never met or dated and I was transferred by my company this week so now I'm stuck battling with these guys to get my rather large sum of money back from them despite NEVER using their services and providing documenation of my transfer from my company.
In past experiences I've found that companies that are slow to return your money due to vague promises in rather wide open contracts do business this way for a reason... I am hoping t not have to bring in an attorney and have to fight for my money but right now it's looking l;ikee it'll be around four months before I'll be able to provide the documentation they're asking for to get out of the contract. I've worked construction all over the USA and this is the worst company I've ever encountered for cancelling a contract with.. They make canceling a gym contract look easy..
