Elliot Management Group Ripped me off for about a Grand Salt Lake City Utah

One of these door-to-door sales men they are recruiting convinced me to try the company, he was a fellow resort owner. I agreed to meet with him and a colleague and told him I didn't have the time to convert yet, but I'd give them a try. They said they would set everything up for me, I wouldn't have to do a thing. I believed them and signed up. I was told I wouldn't be charged until I was up and running. Well, they set me up with 2 merchant accounts when I told them I only needed one. Send me a bunch of numbers and told me to call tech support to sign up, no help. So, I was too busy to convert and waited. Then, I started getting charged 2 statement fees and an unexplained $4.00 a month on top of that - one statement was 30, the other 32 and the 4. I called the company and they reversed the charge and PROMISED me I wouldn't be charged again until I was active. Well, they lied. I was charged the same amounts for the next three months and though I called each time, I was never refunded again. Frustrated with the whole thing and now not trusting they are a good company, I said I didn't even want to activate now. So, they said sorry, asked me to send a fax and then proceeded to charge me $600+ for CANCELLING the account. I called and was told I'd be refunded but I never was. I got so frustrated I gave up, but I'm ready to start this again. It is not fair, I was totally ripped off. One of the questions I asked when I started was - can I cancel at anytime - oh sure, no problem. Never a word about, sure but we'll rake you through the coals.

I would never recommend this company, I was essentially robbed and it's been close 7 months since this happened. I'm still looking for the traveling sales man - he owns some resort and quit working for the company because he found out they were robbers. I don't know what else to do at this point. A thousand dollars is a lot of money especially when you never got one ounce of service, only grief.
