EmpireToday Good sales pitch, but cheap carpet and I do mean cheap. Santa Fe Springs California

 Decided to purchase new carpet for our home. We looked at Home Depot, Lowes and local dealers. Kept seeing the info commercials on TV and decided to give them a call.

Very fast sales service and very convinceing about the carpet we picked out that the color would look good and it was a really good carpet that would last for years and years. They should have used the term day's. Also we should use the best pad available to ensure a longer life. (sure)

Our carpet is now 7 months old and is flatter than a pancake. How can a new carpet go bad so fast is beyond us?  Only 2 adults in the house and we remove our shoes when entering.

We contacted Empire and they sent one of their installers out to our home with a camera. He took pictures and said the carpet looked worn and would report this to his boss who would contact us. Low and behold they did call us. They claim the carpet has to be cleaned before they can take any action. This alone takes the life out of carpet but they argued that this is the only way this problem can be fixed. I then asked for someone in upper management to call us and they said "No Problem". That is where we stand as of today.

I then went on the net looking at the different sites for EmpireToday Carpets. Wish I had done this before I paid cash. Liik at the 115 complaints and they all say it's a scam and rip off. I encourge anyone looking for any type of flooring to stay away from this company or you will take in the shorts.
