Energy Plus Holdings LLC Energy Supplier Scam Internet

Don't be fooled by the cold caller from Energy Plus. They claim that you can earn cash back rewards at the end of a year of service based on your electrical usage. They claim their rates are competative with the local electrical company with the possibility of even lower rates. They lure you in with a $50 up front credit check. The first month they hit me with a near 150% increase. Rates dropped a little the next two months so I waited to see if things would improve but by the forth month back to 3x the cost. By the time I switched back I had 5 months with them and had to endure a 57% increase to my energy costs.
