I rented an Enterprise car and when I went to exchange it for a safer car, Andrew Parma, of Broadway, Huntington Station, NY location, came back in and said that there was damage to the car. I was in dis-belief as I literally drove the car to and from work for only two days. I walked outside and looked to see where the damage was and there is a small scratch and a pin sized ding on the bottom passanger side of the car (next to the rear wheel) almost underneath the car.

When I had initially picked up this car it was a late friday night in NY when it was dark out and we had just had a decent amount of snow on the ground. They showed me the car at night, when I could barely see it. The back of the car was against the wall of the building, so I couldn't see the back of the car and there was snow from the street/parking lot picked up all along the bottom of the car. I was looking for damage at the bottom of the door level and above when I glanced over the car (not thinking I needed to basically look under the car). There were only a few scratches on the enterprise car that I could see in the dark. I was rushing to get out of enterprise as they were about to close. Once I got into the car, the entire inside was filthy, the cloth seats were stained in the front drivers side and passenger side of the vehicle, along with the entire back seats. It's actually kind of comical because when I came in to return this car, my neighbor had been in there with the same type of car from Enterprise complaining about how filthy the inside was, that his girlfriend wouldn't even step foot into the car and was trying to change out that car for another cleaner car. He couldn't even get another car because they had no other cars in any of the nearby locations for him.

Needless to say, after all this Andrew Parma/Enterprise wanted me to sign an 'incident report' basically in other words (without directly stating it) that the damage occurred while I had the car. I refused to sign the report because by me signing this report I'm basically assuming liability for the damage that I didn't cause. If I had caused this damage, don't you think the wheel (rim) would have been scraped up. Now 2 days later, I sign onto my insurance policy and I have an insurance claim for this rental car. I have pictures of this "damage" and Andrew Parma at Enterprise even said that the scratches don't meet the criteria as damage, but the dent does. I would love to display these pictures.

NEVER RENT AN ENTERPRISE CAR, there are other rental car companies that are nicer to their customers.

To top it off, when I went online to look up Enterprise reviews, it appears this is something that commonly happens. The company is horrible and I would never refer them to anyone, even my worst enemy. They are all a bunch of young crooks and inexperienced, is this what corporate teaches them????
