We rented a car for a week, then before the week was up, we called to inquire about turning the week into a monthly rental retroactively including the time already used. Bryant at the Morrow location told us on the phone that the price would be close to $1300 (which seemed high enough). I (James) asked him if this would be an "all in" price, and further clarified by asking if we would have any other charges. He said that as long as the vehicle was returned in good shape, that the quote was accurate. On the day of return, we were told our charge was almost $2500! I told the desk clerk that we were quoted the $1300, and I was told they would just put the account as pending until I cleared it up with Bryant at the Morrow location. I found out from Bryant that the same rep who said it would be put on pending, immediately had charged our card anyway, and that there would be no way to get a refund. After a few minutes of Bryant stammering to me on the phone about him not knowing what "all in" meant, when I asked for an all inclusive quote, I began emailing Enterprise corporate. We continued to get stock auto-responses and dismissals from the corporate email. Even after we returned the car in great shape, full tank of gas, and were former good customers, they simply TOOK an extra $1100+ from us. The final insult was waiting on hold & hearing them tout how they love to treat their customers right, and they are a family-owned business. I promised them I would share our story ... So, go ahead and rent a car from Enterprise, but know that from our experience with them, they may drain your bank account with no compunction.
