Epic Sound Systems EPic Ripoff HOUSTON Texas at the ESSo station Houston Texas

I've gone thru all these stories on Epic systems and mine is nothing different from them all. It happen today (4/27/09) at 2:30 while i was in a gas station filling my tires with air, these two guy parked up beside me in a Black toyota Matrixs and began giving me the same story, that they had a extra system and there boss took the last one cause the got the order mixed up and they want to sell it this time around the whole she BANG! that you've all see in these stories.

But i began to think to myself that this was too good to be true that this system they shown in the catolog worth 3,4Gs' and they wanted to sell me it for $500. He showed me the whole invoice with the delieveries and the fedx package all that, but the date on the invoice was wrong and the address i couldnt reconize. Am not being bias in anyway but my Jamaica light blub went off and I knew this was some Bullshit! So i began to throw questions and test them about the system. He asked ...

"how much can you get now?"
" well all my cash is at the house"

"lets go to the ATM, cause i dont know how long am going to have it"
" well i dont have my card on me right now, but i got cash at the house"

"Where do you live?"
" I-10 and highway 6"

"how much you got on you right now?"
" $50 you going to sell it to me for that"

I began to think these guys either where selling hot stuff or trying to get money off me. So i told him to meet me at highway six and I-10 as someone who does DELIVERIEs in the area SHOULD know. He didnt know where it was, the other guy said they lived in League city south of there, I-10 and H6 was only a mile from where we where!!!! I then asked him to hold on it to later tonight and i would meet up with him after i got my wife from work. He began giving me more excuses and telling me he was trying to get it sold now.
"whats the rush you cant hide it in the car or some where"
He began to get jumpie and then i knew something was wrong i told him to give me his number and i would call him in 20 minutes after i spoke to my wife about it. So i called my wife who I wasnt actually picking up at the time, but was actually in her classroom teaching after school lession to look up on "epic sound systems" on the net.

The next thing I heard from my wife was "there good system but there have been reports of scammers" She began to read me the story off this website about the guy in florida and i swear to you it was like my wife was reading the acutal event that had just told place between me and these guys. THE STORY AND QUESTIONS.
I was so glad that i didnt get caught in the scam and am sorry for anyone was has but IF SOMETHING IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE it isnt. These guys put you in a position that doesnt allow you to think fully and clearly like you would in a store. If they dont give you the time to think through the whole situation like you would in a store its not worth it and its more F#$ up that its in these rough times.
