If you buy an Epson computer printer, NEVER, NEVER, download their "Updates". The updates are there just to block your use of compatable ink from other companies. If you want to use compatable ink, you must try it immediately after buying the printer which gives you enough time to return it if it blocks your ink. Never had this priblem with my HP that I used for 10 years. There is no warning that the computer may block your non Epson ink. It is somewhat of a scam.
