Equifax continues to report late payment history even though I had provided documentation from creditor.

I am tired of them ignoring the laws under which they operate and serve. This is because, the CEO and Board operate behind closed doors and remain "Unreachable" by the average consumer. This is done on porpose, they are never in the line of fire for the poor policies they have created and or for not following the policies required by law.

The only way to change the system is to make the policy makers more visible or transparent to the public, so with this in mind I invite you to write to the CEO of Equifax at his home address if you are tired of getting the run around. Be sure to send certified mail with return receipt so you are prepared for civil action if need be.

Equifax CEO address: Richatrd Frederick Smith, 4270 NW Harris Trail, Atlanta, GA 30327.

My solution to Equifax

AUTHOR: citizen4justice - (USA)

POSTED: Thursday, January 28, 2016

I had a similar situation with Equifax. Even though I provided them all the evidence proving the merchant was scamming me, their response was as long as merchants pay Equifax membership dues they can report what they wish. So, I filed an online complaint with Florida Attorney General Consumer Complaint Division against them and suddenly my record was cleared with a letter stating the outcome. I contact whoever governs the entity from the Governor to the President. Whenever you reach those levels you will get responses.
