EVERY CONTRACTOR.COM = Complete Scam

I have a small remodeling company that has been in business since 1985. Over the last several years we have slowed down due to the economy and my family issues. I have tried several Lead Services in the past and a few of them worked out fine for awhile, but then the leads were provided out to many contractors causing nothing but bidding wars. Over the last several months I had been thinking about trying a new lead service, Everycontractor.com had called me many times over this period, they had a lot of good things to say and to offer, so I listen. After being bugged and harassed for months, I had decided to try their service. What a mistake on my behalf Their Sales Reps are really good at manipulating, misleading and lying.

The way I see it, I was mislead and lied too on many issues. Everything sounded great until my credit card information was provided. Beware I was promised many things, including antiquate leads in my service areas. I have been a member for some time and have not received one lead where I could meet the client or the opportunity to even submit an estimate. The Evereycontractor.com Sales Representative had told me that there were tons of leads in my area and that they were looking for qualified contractors in my area to take these projects. What a bunch of BS. I had filled out a profile with the sales rep and all I have received to date was several leads two hours away from our office. (Which were not even services that we provide and pretty much a Handyman service) I was told that they would only provide several contractors to each lead; this is not even close to what the clients were telling me. I also was told if I was not 100% satisfied with there service, I could get a 100% money back guarantee. (Not true, after they debit your bank account, its gone with nothing in return). Also they will tell you that they will provide you with unlimited leads for that yearly rate. (Which varies from customer to customer) they will lower the cost to get you to sign up. They started out with $ 1,200.00 a year. Then called me back several time changing it to $ 900.00, then a Promotion down to $ 800.00, then down to $ 700.00. Get the point yet? Either way they make money and you get nothing in return.

It also amazing that once they lock you into a contract, your represenitive will never return your calls. NEVER I have emailed them numerous times, called them on the phone, placed on hold forever. There reply always is

Don't fall for it like many others and I have done.

Beware; it's a complete scam. It's quite the leaning experience that I will never forget.

$ 700.00 paid to Evereycontractor.com for not even one lead or the opportunity to even bid on a project. Over 25 phone calls and emails there customer service department with no reply unless it was Edit your profile Not one call back from my appointed sales rep period.

Being an employee of this company, I hope to shed some light on this unfortunate complaint filed by our customer in Ohio. In response to this report, Thomas seems to have a few issues with his purchased service. As I write this reubuttal I am reviewing the customers account and would first like to outline the terms and conditions that we ask all of our customers to abide by. These terms and conditions are put into place to assure our contractors that we have the accurate information regarding their company to generate the right type of business for their company and at the same time to ensure the "job requesters" that we will provide them with a reliable service professional within a reasonable amount of time to set an appointment, bid and complete their project. The terms and conditions are as follows, MAKE SURE THAT YOUR COMPANY PROFILE IS COMPLETED, ACCURATE AND UPDATED AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 90-DAYS; ACCEPT OR REJECT ALL LEADS WITHIN BEING ASSIGNED TO YOU; CONTACT CUSTOMERS WITHIN 24 HOURS AND MAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT TO WIN THE JOB; IF YOU REJECT A LEAD THAT DOES NOT MATCH YOUR COMPANY OR GEOGRAPHIC AREA, YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR COMPANY PROFILE WITHIN 72 HOURS; COMPLETE ALL FEEDBACK FORM ON ALL JOB LEADS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF THE JOB BEING ASSIGNED TO YOUR ACCOUNT ON RESIDENTIAL JOBS AND 3 WEEKS ON COMMERCIAL JOBS; IF YOU HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN, YOUR GUARANTEE DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL YOU PAY IN FULL AND PROVIDE US A MINIMUM OF 5 DIGITAL PHOTOS OF YOUR WORK WITHIN 14 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE SO THAT WE HAVE THEM FOR YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO VIEW. I would like to point out that before any transaction takes place and we consider a contractor to be part of our services they MUST agree and accept these conditions within a 3rd party verification call. To wrap this up I would like to point out that this particular customer signed up with us on 8/19/2008. Thomas agreed to the condition that it is a 12 month program and the reason for this is that we may need adequate time to run several marketing campaigns, if nessessary, to assure that we are able to fullfill our guarantee of a MINIMUM of 12 qualified job leads within that amount of time. If for ANY reason we aren't able to reach that goal, we do back up the service with a full money back guarantee, assuming that the customer has followed the terms and conditions. If you recall in his report, he makes it clear that we gave him a discount due to a financial "situation" that he was having. He made a deposit of $350 with the balance of $350 due on 10/4/2008. In the 43 days that Thomas has been a customer of ours, we have generated 17 job leads that match the profile that the customer filled out personally. Of the 17, 5 have been ACCEPTED by the customer and 7 have not been picked-up within the 24 hour window that we require of our customers. The time frame that it took "Thomas" to pick-up the leads ranged anywhere from 2 days to 9 days which leaves the customer out of compliance with the terms and conditions of his purchased service. We are, as always, committed to the satisfaction of each of our clients, but we are also bound by the terms and conditions of each purchase as are the purchasers.
