Experian Credit Bureau Gives Junk Debt Buyers Reporting Tips Allen Texas

Be very careful when dealing with Experian. I get a copy of my credit report yearly. The most recent one had an account on it that does not belong to me and I disputed it. Shortly after submitting an online dispute, I received a letter from the junk debt buyer that the account was sold to and they state that Experian told them what dates to use. I disputed it again, stating what the jdb told me. I also filed a complaint with the BBB in Texas. LOL They forwarded my complaint to the BBB of the Southland (Colton, CA). I found out today that this BBB office is under investigation for fraud, among other things. The results of my investigation were sent to me today and they are leaving the account on my credit report. When I tried to dispute it again - adding relevant details - they refused to accept my dispute and told me to contact the "creditor" directly. No point in contacting the jdb - it appears they are working in concert with this particular credit bureau. Check your credit reports carefully - who knows what they have decided to add to it.
