Express flooring 4110 Washington st suit 100 phoenix az 85009 Horrible result. Paid $7000 and they won't come fix the numerous problems with our floors. Calling daily for a month. Keep being told they will come fix it. No call no show Phoenix Arizona

We scheduled a consultation with express flooring. The sales man Jim Fitzsimmons was great. Forgot to tell us quite a few details though. the installers came to install hardwood floors in two rooms in ours house. Installer number one rips our carpet up to shreds and then tells me I will need my floors sanded and that I need to negotiate the price because express flooring will rip me off. He also tells me that he won't do anymore work until I agree to pay for sanding. We negotiate with express flooring on the sanding that "has" to happy and I  feel a bit screwed that we now have concrete floors. installer one talks on his phone all day while installer two spends the entire day in my bathroom. Now im in $7,000. The following days I look at the horrible job these guys did. One board is wasnt even pounded in the entire way leaving a decrease in resale value and someone waiting to get stitches on my hands. My floors are uneven (remember how they made me have my floors sanded?). The transition boards don't even match up. In a couple places they transition boards don't meet the wall so there is a gap. I call and complain. I call and call and call. Finally I get Matt. Matt told me they will come inspect and fix my floors. my husband and I call every day. Finally we get guy to come looks at our floors. The guy agrees they look crappy. Then we are told a week and a half to get the parts. A week and a half goes by... No call... To make my long portion of the story short I call daily for three weeks, leave voicemails, speak with Matt, always promised a fix... After week four I lose my patience. I talk to Matt again and he  knows my husband and I keep calling and leave him voicemails. Matt tells me he has been busy doing his work. I ask if express floorings service is so bad that it takes him over three weeks to give me a day where someone will come fix the multiple problems with my floor. I tell Matt I want my extra money that I got scammed into paying back. Matt tells come the crew lead of the two crappy installers will come to my house today!!!! Finally.... Oh wait a no call no show!!!!!! What is the best part????? I the fine print that no orye tells you about it states you cannot file a lawsuit agacoma express flooring for doing crappy work! so now we have to go to arbitration!!!!! out $7,000. Many phone calls, voicemails, and clearly upset. Worst customer experience, worst purchase experience, and worst contracting experience of my life.

How to get Express to fix the problems

I can't stress strongly enough if you're having problems with them file a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors. Those complaints are the only ones Express will do anything about.

Go to the ROC and see how fast they move. Without that ROC license they have nothing. The only way to make them stand by their word is to go to the ROC.

File your complaint with the Registrar of Contractors (ROC). I got fast action after I filed my complaint with the ROC. The ROC can pull Express's license if they get too many complaints against them.
