Extreme Fitness Extreme Scam on so-called "Free Month" and "Account Freeze" Toronto, Ontario

To tempt you to sign a contract with them, they waive a net of lies. You will find a lot of hiding fees when you start to contact with them.

They told you that they will give you two free months, but turns out they just move the payment of the first two months to the later ten months of the year. Here is how I slip to the trap, the guy first told me that he could reduce the fee to $58/mon. from $72 for me, seeing that I still hesitated, he added two free months. So, I sign my contract. However, it turned out that they just did not charge me in the first month, but started to charge more in the later 10 months. Look at how they calculate it ($58*12)/10 = $69.9/mon. How can you tell a custom that you give them free months but actually what your do is just delayed the charge. Also, their contract is design in a way to confuse customers and make them easier to cook up excuses.

They told you that you can freeze your account during summer time or when you are on travel, but tons of problems float to the top when you really try to use this accout-freeze-thing. Firstly, they continue to charge your during freezing months, their execuse --- during the first year of contract you have to pay even though you freeze your account, while you can earn credit months and use them in the next year.  Second, when you start to use credit months, they find other execuses to reduce the number of months for you, in my case, I freeze my account four months last year and they still charges fees during that period. This year, I can only get three credit months, their reason is suck --- because when I sign contract, the manage already give me two free months. What the f**k! This company really need to give customs a full copy of policy and rules, or they can just explain any thing in the way they want.

Why a business filled with tricky sales manager can continue to survive? When I left the office with a feeling of being cheated, I bump into another girl walking by with a sales rep,   I saw expectant expression from her face when she was having a tour in the gym. God bless her.
