My mortgage was recently sold to this company. I never received anything from them, I mailed my first payment to them with copies of the Notice of Assignment, Sale or Transfer of Servicing Rights that I received from my previous Mortgage Co. I received a VALIDATION OF DEBT letter dated 12/10/02. I immediately called them, I advised them that I had mailed my payment (by the way, my payment is not due until the 5th of each month) and knew they would receive any day.

They said they would make a note of same. I advised them that I had never received anything from them, including a monthly statement. They transferred me to the Customer Service Dept and they said they did not understand why I had not been sent anything, but would mail me something. On 12/24/02, I did receive my 12/5/02 monthly billing statement. My 12/02 payment posted on their system 12/16/02. For my 1/03 payment, I used the speed pay option (which is basically a wire transfer), I did this on 1/14/03. Note: still no 1/03 monthly statement.

I called just to make sure that they had credited my account (since this was the first time using this available resource) and as of 1/16/03, the payment had not been posted. I called back on 1/17/03, the payment still had not posted. I asked for an explaination of this but was told that the FL Collection Dept. and the FL Customer Service Dept. do not handle the posting of payments. The payment processing center have no phone # and their email address can not be released to the customers. After much discussion with them, I was told that the payment processing is handled thru the Utah Headquarters.

I was given a phone # for HQ, however, oddly enough, when I called it I ended up back in FL.........(and paying for the long distance call). Every time I called, I was treated like a "deadbeat". They questioned me regarding my ss#, my address, my home #, where I work, where my husband works every time I called. Each time once they finally accessed my account, they could see the note that I had made a "speed pay", but all said that I was still showing non payment because the payment had not posted yet........

I asked who could post my payment, I was promised that the Payment Processing unit would be emailed but that was all that could be done...... Most of these people as rude and unconcerned about the situation, they want you to give them your life history for the purpose of "collecting a debt". They do not know why a payment is not posting, nor do they really care. You ask for supervisors and there appear to be none available at any time. I see that there are many others who have encountered this as well as those who are going thru the same thing now....This is just bad business!!!! Who regulates these type of Mortgage Cos.?
