A marketing card was mailed to my parents from "Allergy Relief Center of Nebraska" advertising air filters and vacuum cleaners. They returned the card to find out what it was about. The sales person arranged an in-house high pressure demonstration that lasted for JUST SHY OF 4 HOURS. The vacuum apparently can do everything including forgive your sins ("indulgence" only for the price of $1900.00)...

Upon my inspection of the item, I completely reject the product value and would put it in the $160.00 to $200.00 range. The plastic components are not very rigid with exception of the filter container. It looks modern and has a motor that sounds like it operates at very high RPM so I'm sure it has reasonably strong suction, but all Dyson's have that and their TOP END machine is $599.99.

I looked and there is VERY LITTLE product information about this vacuum. The manufacturer site http://www.filtropur.net/ does NOT have much specification information on the product. Very immature and undeveloped web site... There are NO reviews by Consumer Reports (http://www.consumerreports.org) They have no review of Filtropur, FSV Inc., HMI Industries, or Health-Mor Inc.

So now the product has an obvious design defect. The filter canister DOES NOT seal completely with the air input port on the front. The high pressure sent to the filter from the vacuum motor causes lots of air to escape the defective seal and you will see dirt, dust, and allergens (which they claim are completely removed) accumulate in this area on the vacuum and by deduction back into the air.

What good does it do to remove dust and allergens from the carpet and put lot right back into the air where they will be breathed???

If they are going to advertise that it filters out 99.97% of 1 to 2 micron sized particles, how do they account for the % emitted back into the air before getting to the filter?

What about refund? The product design alone is enough cause to return it right away!!!

I don't believe there is any vacuum worth $1900.00 after seeing this piece of junk.

Thanks for reading this and be super careful not to entertain in-house high pressure sales people.

Filtropur

Last November I was contacted to see if I would be interested in a demonstration of an air purifier. My neighbor and I welcomed Spencer in and then really enjoyed learning about the products he was showing us. So much so we entered into an agreement to buy 2 air purifiers, a vacuum, and 2 furnace filters.

Since I smoke, have a dog, have many house plants with wet soil and of course cooking odors, a closed up house can be, well, smelly. Its quite enjoyable to enter my house and not smell all of these odors.

Spencer is a very good spokesman for your products and your office staff has been very helpful when I needed information.

I would recommend them to others in needs of your products.

The Filtropur Commercial is part of an air Filtration system, not just a sweeper!I am an independent contractor just as the writer of this report. I have been a member of Ripoff Report for years and I have a list of companies I have reported to the FTC, FINRA, and various divisions of banking if they have been unscrupulous. Obviously, he/she does not understand or know very much about the products he said he could not sell. The Filtropur Commercial is NOT a traditional vacuum because it does not suck up whatever is on your floor and blow a large portion of those pollutants (germs, bacteria, viruses, pet dander, fungi (ring worm), mold back into your face while you are "cleaning" and into your home's air and on your furniture. A vacuum only dependent on suction and bags or a flat filter, such as the ones that can be purchased anywhere the disgruntled ex-employee listed are not the same type of machine. The Filtropur Commercial works by a different mechanism of physics and does not spit out polluted air in your home, like a regular vacuum. The final filter on the Filtropur Commercial does emit 99.97% allergen free air and the representatives have the technology to prove it. This is a product for people who want to be informed and care about their health and their family's health. The EPA says that indoor air quality is the #1 environmental health problem for the US.

The Filtropur products are affordable solutions to that problem. People pay water and sewer bills each month without saying clean water is not necessary. Clean air, furniture, and floors are even more important because we take particles from those items into our lungs (more than 30lbs of dirty indoor air per day.) If you think of how much water you drink (maybe 1 Liter per day) which is about 2.2 lbs of water we breathe in over 30 lbs of air. Clean air is worth it! We spend thousands of dollars on equipment to maintain our lawns and wash clothes, which are not as important as the air we breathe. Because we see the lawn and our clothes and others see them, we pay attention to our clothes and lawns. You can't see the air, but Filtropur associates make it our mission to show people the problems with the dirty air they are breathing. Clean air provided by the Filtropur SFS and surfaces maintained by the Commercial is even more valuable. Comparing mediocre vacuums to Filtropur products is like comparing fast food to sustainable, organically raised food prepared by a master chef, NO COMPARISON!

You'll never want anything else!

I was very happy to have Helena come to demo her products to us. My Cowboy, was skeptical at first, but he allowed her to demo her products as he quizzed her all the way. She showed us her machines and as it turned out, my "vacuum" I knew that day was on its last leg. Helena was a God send for sure in so many ways. She is honest, real and deserves to be treated with the greatest respect.

 After showing us on a meter just how dirty the air is inside a home (I'm a cleaner) my husband was convinced. She sold my husband on the air cleaners that we had just talked about needing one. Well, we bought 3 since my son and I suffer from asthma. I love the fresh clean smell it gives our home. Now, when she showed us the air cleaner that would clean all the dirt, dust mites, etc. from our floors, pillows, beds and more, I couldn't wait to try it out. My husband bought it too. It's great how it never smells like dirt, just clean! When I got up the next morning, that's the first thing I did was clean my home with that air cleaner that is not called a vacuum but it does suck out all the dirt, bad air and stuff in my home. I love how my carpets look and how the house smells so clean! When Helena brought the other air filter units to us the next day, she also brought her boss, Nic who is also as terrific as Helena. They do all they can to see that you're happy with their products. They are good and amazing people you can trust.

Yes, this is from a real homemaker and long term Mom who wants her home sparkling clean, and smelling fresh like it ought to be without chemicals. I don't think you can find anything else out there to compare to these awesome machines. Once the dirt, bugs etc. go in; they are trapped and won't be escaping ever! It's great to do business with local business people just like it should be who know you and treat you right. They come right to your house to service your machines if they need it. Hey, we didn't even have to spend the money on gas and looking, looking, looking for what we needed. I love that! We know quality when we see it. We've had more than enough experience with what is okay, good and great. These machines are better than great and you'll see that for yourself. I encourage you to buy a Filtropur machine, you won't be sorry! We're sure not! Give them a try and you'll see how refreshing they are. Just smelling how clean the air is as you clean your home makes you want to clean daily with this cleaning machine. It's so easy to use that you'll never want anything else!

Product is a Winner!

I was introduced to the purifiers and vacuum because we got a card in the mail that we could win something if we just listened to a presentation. My husband and I called and made the appointment, along came Courtney, he was polite, I thought Great! What are they trying to sell us now? I was pleasantly surprised. Courtney started and he was so delightful he made it fun and educational. He demonstrated the purifier in the bedroom and I could not believe how much better it smelled in there. So we were sold on the purifiers especially due to my sufferings of allergies. We have 2 dogs and live in an old house that is not sealed the best so the allergens come from not only in the house but from outside.

Then he goes out and brings some weird looking contraption into the house. It looked futuristic. The vacuum is wonderful. We had a Kirby at the time of the demonstration and I knew after just a few minutes that I needed to have it. We have been using them constantly since we got them. We are smokers and normally smoke outside but the few days that it was too cold outside we smoked inside and the purifiers took care of the smoke smell. Saved me on trying to spray the air.

The vacuum is wonderful about getting the dog hair and the little particles of dirt. I am amazed every time I
empty the vacuum how many little dust is has sucked up out of my carpets. I will continue to use these products and I like the warranty on them tremendously. Thank you Courtney and Keely for your great service.

Amazes me how much dirt I pick up

I like my vacuum and it amazes me how much dirt I pick up

each time I use it. The canister is always full of dog hair. I have never been

as happy with a vacuum as I am with this one. The carpet fibers are not as

matted down as it was with our old vacuum. The filtration system has helped my

son not wake up so congested in the mornings. It has definitely improved our

health as we feel like we are breathing in cleaner air. I would recommend these

2 products for anyone. I have called customer service a couple of different

times and they have been outstanding at helping us.

P.S. One thing I found myself frustrated with though was

our salesmen told us when we called the 800# to order more filters for the

vacuum he told us they only cost about a quarter a piece. I think he needs to

be more honest with people with this economy. Also I dont remember him telling

us about all the different filters to change on both products after 3-4 months.

LOVE MY VACUUM & AIR PURIFIERS!!!!!

I have NEVER slept better! You can feel the difference in your breathing and it makes the room smell fresh without adding
chemicals in the air. My vacuum works really well and the fact that it has two motors in it my hubby thinks it is cool to use because there really is not a vacuum out there that can compete (FYI, we had a perfectly good $600 Dyson that
we gave up to have this!) It picks up pet hair and does not ruin your carpet.

Also the people that you work with (Jeff) if you have a problem really care about the product working like it needs to be. These products might be a little costly, but they are worth it!!! They gave us pricing options so we were able
to have these wonderful healthy products in our home I am very thankful for the Allergy Relief Center!

Happy With My Purchase

I am writing you to let you know how happy I am with my vacuum. Randy was our representative and did an awesome job showing us. We were so impressed that we not only bought one but we also bought one for each of our 4 children.

The only thing that we have had to have repaired on ours was one of the little wheels broke off but with only a phone call someone was out here and repaired it and checked it all over we were good to go again.  I am pleased with the great job it does.

Wonderful Machine

I am just writing a letter to the Allergy Relief Center to tell you how much I LOVE my Vac.

I have a little story about how good it is. I know Im not supposed to use Scentzys, and I dont any more, but when I did have one out one of my grandsons accidently hit the table and the Scentzy wax went all over my white carpet!!!! What a mess. I took a hot iron and started trying to get it out. A lot did come out but a lot didnt. So the next day after it had hardened I vacuumed it a few times that day and all of it came out with the vacuum. I was so excited. This is just how powerful and wonderful this product is.

I would recommend this and have to a lot of my friends. Wonderful machine.

Thank you again for all it does. Saves a lot of money not to have to have my carpet professionally cleaned.

Incredible Results!

My husband and I were in the market for air purifiers for our home. We were recently introduced to the Filtropur SFS Sanitizing Filtration System. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any information on

this product on the internet. We did however find extensive positive information on the IQAir HealthPro Plus. This led to our decision of ordering an IQAir HealthPro Plus. We were later contacted by Mark Frederickson. He believed that the Filtropur SFS was a great product and agreed to let us do our

own independent test comparing the two products.

For our test, we chose two bedrooms of equal size located in the same area of our home. We flipped a coin to determine which purifier would be placed in which bedroom. We tested the particle count in each bedroom prior to using the purifiers. We turned off the ceiling fans located in each bedroom as well as the house fan. We then placed each purifier in the center of its room. We simultaneously turned the purifiers on their highest setting and closed the door to their room. We then let each purifier for for approximately 1-1/2 hours checking their particle counts along the way. To our surprise, the Filtropur unit outperformed the IQAir unit.

The numbers above are the readings from the Laser Particle Counter. They are the readings of the 0.3 microns. These numbers would be multiplied by 1000.

As you can see, the Filtropur unit started with the highest particle count and after 1-1/2 hours of usage ended with the lowest particle count. Simply put, it more effectively cleaned our air. Due to these results, we purchased two Filtroput SFS units.

I am so enjoying my SFS Air Cleaners & Commercial Vac. I do believe they have helped my sinus. I use to get 1-2 sinus &/or ear infections a year. I have not had either since receiving my 3 piece system.

The cone filters are easy to remove & install tops of air cleaners are easy to remove & replace and they are all also easy to vac.

Again, thank you for your help & sending my order so promptly & paid for shipping, too.

Great Equipment

Hi my name is Celly, and I purchased the purifiers and the commercial vacuum about a month ago and love it. I have 2 daughters that suffer with asthma and allergies and since I bought this GREAT equipment it has helped them a lot. I myself that have allergies and I feel great. I can breathe better thanks to the Allergy Relief Center for everything, youre the best!

different line of products.  Though you had a bad experience with HMI, you
were not dealing with our company.



You are most certainly entitled to your opinion on the price of a product, but just because you are unable to afford something or fail to see the value of a product does not mean that others are also in your predicament.  If people were not able to afford to spend money for quality products in this "time" than why would they be offered? As for the economy, it's on an upswing.  



Comparisons between a cheaper product and a more expensive product are like comparing something in the same genre, but of obviously different levels.  You don't compare a house that's worth $1,000,000 to a house down the street that's worth $100,000 and call them equal. Obviously, they are both houses, but one has more amenities, is larger, is built with higher quality materials, and possibly in a better location. I doubt you would consider a Corvette and a VW Bug equals, even though, they're both cars.  The Corvette is more expensive, because you pay for the performance, the look, and the name of the machine.  If people didn't want or couldn't afford Corvettes than why are they being made?  Or Mercedes? Or Filtropur?

Many people want to be able to provide their family with a cleaner and healthier environment, and we believe that are products do that better than anything else on the market.

I was looking for a new job and in the paper it said demostrator 15.00 dollars per hour. so I called they gentleman seemed interested in me asked me to come in. It was basically a GIANT sales pitch for HMI Sweepers. now I don't mind spending money on a vaccum cleaner. so I sat through the demostration. As you probably know we are in a recession. So everyone trying keep their homes,cars,whatever they have. I'll admit I have a nicer Dyson vaccum at home i believe it was 450 dollars without tax. Its hard to move a Tyson in these Economic times. I kept on asking the gentleman  "okay whats the price sir?" he said "1900 dollars PLUS i'm gonna throw in a "free" air purifier." I said "are you kidding me" He said "yeah why" I said "you really expect me to sell an almost 2 grand sweeper in these times?"  I said  "I don't care if it takes out the trash, and shines your shoes people aren't gonna pay almost 2 grand for it sir."  He's like "why not?" I said "If it was 250 or 300 dollars  I could sell it easy. Thats about the price at K Mart,Target, Wal-Mart for a nicer Sweeper sir?" I said "sir, pricing right now is everything." People don't have  almost 2 grand to spend on a sweeper. after i watched the 4 hour demostration. and his song and dance and said this in front of probably 30 people. He said "Just get out." so i got in my car and left.

This is a discouraging and slanderous report.  In all of your dialogue not once did you mention that you made any attempt to resolve the issue with the company.  I would hope that someone rather than smear a companies name or a product, would contact the company that it did business with to resolve an issue or question.  Had you contacted the service department before you decided to make this post they would have corrected the situation well before this point.

We are not in any way, shape, or form affiliated with HMI Industries, or Health-Mor Inc.  FVS Inc. has been in the business of cleaning equipment for more than 25 years and prides itself on quality products and helping people to provide cleaner and healthier environments.  Rather than continue to rebuttal back and forth would you please call the number listed inside of the owners manual or call the manufacturers number on the machine and they will put you into contact with the store, so that the situation can be resolved.
