I recently had major changes in my personal being & finances. I seached the internet for Obama's bailout plan - I read about Fintech Services in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
I was immediately contacted by a gtlmn Joe Servilio. He explained there co. helped people in my situation and in almosty every case they can modiofy an existing loan. He told me there were no "up front" fees. He took the time over the phone to review how the program works & that it can take 30 - 60 days. After he gathers my pay stubs, income tax returns, hardship letter and a copy of my license, all gets transferred to one of their underwriters. I rec'vd. application and filled out all the forms. Then I was asked for the 995.00 for the "processing fee". I asked why they needed it up front and was explained only that it's a one time for for the "acceptance" of the app. & after the loan was midigated the under writer would be charging an add'tl $395.00 once mod. process completed. It's been a month and I have only had 1 response from a woman via email Amy Bryant who simply staed-Joe was suppose to inform you, your lender (mind you I have a first & 2nd mtg.)said you are already in a modication and aren't eligable until 10/2009 & we can resubmit then. I can't reach anybody by phone & no emails are returned-phones always in voicemail. I contacted both lenders and on the 1st mortg. they rec'vd a fax from Fintech stating they "would be" contacting them but NEVER REC'D. ANY calls from Fintech and the 2nd mtg company got no fax or calls from FINTECH SERVICES. The day after I faxed my doc's, they cashed my check. They wouldn't accept a credit card as they claim it incurs add'tl debt and doesn't look good the finance company.

Now this company that I can't reach has ALL MY PERSONAL INFO - social security # , bank routing & acct#'s, license info - this is awful & I'm so embarressed I trusted Joe Servilio & Any Bryant @ FINTECH SERVICES. FYI - i have family that is going to physically go to business address & see it there are actual people there & in the owners name is Michael C. Mali born 1972/resides in Boynton Beach, FL & co owner Andy Cappello about the same age & resides in Ft Lauderdale, FL-as I obtain additional info (as I will) I will gladly forward to anybody who needs it.

Funny Mr. Capolla that I have kept paperwork from you where I asked for your credentials and YOUR name along with Michael Mali's are all over them. I have proof you may not have OWNED the business, but you were worse in that you coerced and called people to get in on the scam. You are just as bad as the owners.

I have posted here also and was a victim of this scam. Michael Mali was a part of this scheme and now works elsewhere and can be found on the web. They take no accountibility for their actions and did not help at all with people who had problems modifying their mortgage.

I will find out about the rest of them as much as I can. I want my $1000 back. And hope karma comes around

I know this is a long time since your post, but I also fell into the trap of Fintech services and have been looking for a way to get my money returned. I even found the other co-owner, Michael Mali working for a realator. They took $1000 of ours in desperate times. Never heard from them again. I even wrote the attorney general and they just passed it on to someone else. Is it to late to get my money back?

Fintech Service- Scammed in 2000

AUTHOR: Stephanie - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 05, 2015

Hello and thank you for your advice on this company. I am still feeling the affects as I had to talk to my bank today, (the one Fintech was supposed to help me with) and although I have spoken with them by phone throughout the years since fintech in 2009, they told me I have a 'cease and desist' on my loan and they cannot speak to me! I wrote the attorney general in Florida and they said there was nothing they could do I paid them $1000 and that is all they did, tell my bank not to speak to me...........I doubt I will ever see that money again.

You CAN get your $ back

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 31, 2010

You CAN GET YOUR $ BACK -Fintech used Deutsche Bank & a middle man internet compnay in NJ to do these transactions.  Though the $ was w/drawn from your account you can still put a STOP PAYMENT on the transaction stating it was fraud & you didn't sign form.... the other bank has by law 3 days to respond & if they don't then the $ is supposed to be returned AS MINE WAS!!! I also wrote the the FL Att. Generals office and the was contacted back & I'm happy to say thew company and all involved are under investigation from what I was told - talk to your BANK

I was ripped off too

I was also contacted by Fintech Services about a loan modification. I had just been laid off and was not having much positive feed back from the mortgage company. I originally spoke to Sean Flannery (that should have been my first clue). I sent in all the requested information. I was then contacted by Andy as a follow-up to assure me that all the information had arrived and the negotiations were starting. About the same time I received a call from a female at the company asking for my banking information. I refused. This was in February. I was also told to not talk to my mortgage company under any circumstances. When I did receive a call from them and was told that they had not been contacted by anyone from Fintech, I got a call from Sean and he was livid that I had talked to the mortgage company. I had and still have correspondence from Sean and Andy in regards to the loan modification.
Shame on you Andy and all at Fintech for taking advantage of people, some of them elderly as I am, who are looking to keep their homes and get help in these stressful times.

Andy Cappello is not a co-owner of Fintech Services inc

AUTHOR: Andy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 20, 2009

First, this individual is offering personal information and addresses about private citizens. I am NOT an owner of Fintech services inc. This company can easily be looked up on sunbiz.org and the owners are clearly listed. I was an affiliate of the company for some time, however I never personally originated any loan modifications, nor was I an owner of the company. This individual should get her facts straight, as she is offering information of a private individual who has no bearing on this company nor its workings. Furthermore, Fintech services never guarantees a loan modification, nor does the agreement that this individual signed offer any type of guarantee. In fact i have forwarded this to the owner of Fintech and he is currently speaking with his attorney to release the information of this individual including the signed agreement which has 2 pages of step by step instructions on loan modifications, what a consumer pays a loan modification company for, and what Fintech actually offers. This client either never read the agreement they signed or just does not want to accept the fact that they may have left out an important fact as her letter stated her lender already had her in a modification, and if she did not inform the company of this, which many consumers do not, she WOULD NOT be eligible for another modification until the original modification has been satisfied. Furthermore, I have no association with Fintech services nor any of its subsidiaries and my good name is being slandered on Rip Off report. I will defend my name both here and in court if need be. This consumer needs to get her facts straight, not slander private individuals and read her agreement which is 100% contrary to what she is stating in her complaint.
I want my name and association with a FORMER employer removed from this board immediately, or I will take whatever legal action is required to have my name removed. I left the loan modification business because consumers are greedy, they expect to be compensated for not paying their mortgage, in reality they signed the mortgage note and deed and we attempt to help them with NO GAURANTEE of success and yet we are blasted, and slandered although our service is clearly defined in the service contract, including an option to rescind the agreement, and a 12 point disclosure on exactly what Fintech offered for a service do and what our service is. This consumer willingly and knowingly entered into a contract and signed a full disclosure contract. I would challenge her to upload a copy of the agreement for the world to see, and then match that agreement to her complaint and it would be clear she is slandering both my personal name as well as the company i used to work for.

LOAN MODIFICATIONS ARE SCAMS

AUTHOR: Linda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 19, 2009

After speaking to both my 1st & 2nd mortgage companies they both informed me only the homeowner can negotiate a modification - both expressed whether doc's are faxed to their office or not, they will ONLY speak to the home owner in ORDER TO KEEP THEIR PRIVACY & PROTECT THEIR BEST interest - had I known, I would have never "hired" any modification/mortgage company.
