I gave First Progress $500 for secure deposit for a secured card of $500. I tried to charge something each month and pay off monthly without service fees. I call them to cancel my card and get the refund of $500. I was told that They had to keep my money for an additional 30 to 90 days without paying me any interest or anything.

I asked them why must they hold my money when the account is closed and I don't owe them any thing. They that's just their policy. So they keep using my money. They have already use it for eight months.

I told them if  I had their money I would have to pay them interest, late charges etc. Why is it legal for them to keep my money as long as they choose?
