On December 12th,2005, I placed an order from Urban Florist, for the following items: Shout for Joy Flowers $29.99
1- Vase $9.99
Shipping $9.99
Total of $52.37
Was not told about any other charges, but my account was charged $58.69 I had choose the next day delivery, and thought all was fine. But the next day, when I called my friend to see what he thought of the flowers, he said "What Flowers"

They were never sent. WOW What a Suprise!! I called the Urban Florist, but could not get through, except to push the order button, then spoke to a fella named Nelson.
Who said, it was their busy season and they forgot to send it, and could not send it.

So he would put in for a refund for me, and I should get it in a few days. To this date, I have not received a refund. I have called almost everyday since then and can not get through to anyone, not even to order again(not that I would).

Now with searching about them I find all of these letters and wonder why someone up there does not do anything about this.

So many letters, all of them report scams, and their money being taken with no delivery of items. I would think that the Government Officials in British Columbia, would get off their tussie's and find out why these people can get by with this.

I am going to call my bank and credit card company to see if they will do something about this. Sure makes you wonder how many others are out there. DO NOT Use The URBAN FLORIST, in Vancouver, British Columbia. REALLY BIG RIP_OFF'S

Urban Florist Resolution

I likewise received bad service from Urban Florist of Vancouver, BC. That was a year ago and they're still in business! I spent many hours trying to resolve the issues by phone with their representatives. All in vain.

Fortunately, I had paid using my credit card and the solution for me was a charge back to my credit card issuer. This requires a letter with details of the company's failure to perform. It will be time consuming, several correspondences back and forth, but much more productive than attempting resolution trough Urban Florist directly.

Note, you do need to make a sincere attempt at resolution through Urban Florist before requesting the charge back. Also, there is a time limit on the charge back, I believe it's 3 months, but check on this with your credit card issuer.
