I was contacted by this company RTS travel telling me that I had won a 1,000.00 gift certificate to shop on line and that I could cancel all of the offers that I was being presented,within a 10 day trail period. What they failed to mention was that the trail period is 10 days from the date of the letter that they will send to you in the mail.
Now before they send the letters out it's real easy to get in-touch with a representative. I know, because I tried to cancel before I ever received a letter in the mail,and much to my horror I was then advised of the stipulation of the agreement. But since I have received my letter I have not been able to get intouch with anyone. And now I'm going to be charged 139.95 twice because they won't keep their word and answer the dang phone!
Yes I should have know better, but that's just not fair! They should do what they say their going to do.

To anyone that is out there that has been recently rip offed by one or both of this companies take my advice and do what I did. Since I couldn't get anyone on the phone I sent them a letter via reqular mail with the date on it indicating that I was well with in my time frame to cancel. And since it was since by the post office and the post mark has the correct date it is all very legal. And beside it will hold up in any court. I just use the same method that the company used in saying that this letter is effective on the date above. And if it's legal for them then it is very well legal for us.
I also kept a copy of the letter that I sent to them as my proof. And I must say my acct has not been charged. And to anyone out there that has been charged and you have something in writing saying that you submitted a request to cancel, you will be well with in your legal rights to dispute the merchant and get your money back into your acct. And in actuality your finacial institution will be happy to assist you in this matter!
