Fry's Electronics return policy is by far non-friendly Ripoff Tempe Arizona

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

Fry's Electronics has a return policy that is far than unfair to consumers. If an item is not returned within 30 days the item cannot be returned. No store credit, nothing! Most stores will not allow cash or credit-card refunds after 30 days, but many will allow for store credit for unopened merchandise. I tried to return some unopened speakers that I bought, returning because my car was destroyed and I did not get a chance to install them as I had to buy a new car. I went back 35 days later and they would not allow a return, not even store credit. I find this scathingly unfair and because of this policy I will not shop at Fry's Electronics ever again. I urge others to do the same. And as a side note, when entering the store one can notice that the longest line in the store is the one at the return counter because Fry's sells shoddy products. I have also NEVER received a manufacturer rebate from items that I have bought at Fry's Electronics, which is often their main selling point for many products. You can follow the rules for rebate to the key and you will never receive anything.

FYI, a retailer can set their return policy to 14 calendar days (Best Buy) or 30 calendar days (Fry's Electronics) or 90 calendar days (Costco). If you are trying to get a refund or exchange past the store's return policy period, they are not obligated to make exceptions for every customer.

Manufacturer rebates are rebates offered by manufacturers, not rebates offered by retailers such as Fry's Electronics or Best Buy. Many manufacturers will use third-party companies to process their rebate forms and payments. Fry's Electronics is not responsible for the processing of the rebates.
