Fulfillment International Corporation slow prossessing but REFUND came through Coldwater Michigan

I have read all the reports on Fulfillment International with interest and some panic. Like the other people we were contacted by the company beginning of December 2002 and we gave our gredit card details for a holiday of a life time. However after checking out how much it would cost us in addition to the trip for extra fares, spending money etc and taking into account we were to take our little lad to Florida this May after three years saving we knew we could not afford another trip. I contacted Fulfillment who said we could have had an extension but we still couldn't see we would have enough funds in time. They sent us the free luggage in December but no vouchers.

We were very apprehensive especially after reading the reports and contacted our Credit Card account staff for advice. Although our Credit card staff were helpful we said we would attempt for a refund ourselves and contacted Fulfillment for this. They agreed no vouchers would be sent and that we needed to return the free gift luggage and once this had been inspected a refund would follow.

Processing was very slow but at all times their emails/staff were very helpful and neither side got angry or abusive. In March 2003 we received a part refund and pressed for the remainder. Fulfillment advised that they needed to get the deposits back from the hotel/accommodations that had been prior booked but as this was taking some time they would refund us anyway.

We received the balance refund, less admin charges of approximately 45 at end of April 2003 which has been banked and cleared and we are very grateful to them for this.
