I am utterly disgusted with this company.  We simply have requested an exchange on a ring my partner has brought for me.  This is an important ring as we are having a baby in the next week and we would like to show our commitment through this ring.  The reason we used Glencara is because my partner has Irish heritage and the meaning behind the ring was paramount in choosing the right company.

We received the ring in time for a lovely christmas together but unfortunalty the ring was to small.  We returned the item using the recorded delivery service from Royal Mail on 16/01/2014.  We have never had comfirmed recipt of this despite the Royal Mail tracker alerting us that the ring had been delivered.  As requested online, we returned the ring with the instructions for a larger size.

We have since not been able to contac Glencara.  My partner calls on a daily basis and has emailed numerous time to no avail.  The concept of answering the phone or responding to any form of contact seems to have been missed in their customer service training.

I have written to them on facebook and Twitter - I have tried to contact them on Linkedin and I am now looking online at website such as ripoff report.com and getting rather concerned that I am far from the only person this has happened to.  

If they are struggling to cope with a large number of requests, then let us know!! Keep us updated so we are aware of the problem.  Instead they are simply ignoring us which is completely unacceptable.  Does anyone have any advice or suggestions as to how to move this along? Any governing body in Ireland that might beable to help me? I simply cannot understand how a business is able to continue to run when their 'customer service team' have their phone on answer and are unable to reply to emails.  I work in customer services and it really isnt that hard to just say sorry, we are struggling but will get back to you.
