We received a post card in the mail promising us two Carnival Cruise tickets and a Blue-Ray DVD player for attending their 90 minute travel seminar.  We drove the 1 1/2 hour drive, there is an office in downtown Orlando but there are no kids allowed so we had to drive to the Port Orange office. We listened to the seminar and actually were in the process of purchasing a $6,000 travel package when we asked them to pull up some of their properties that were available to us now.  There were none!  We were told that was because we had to book 90 days out, so we tried that, there we none!  Then they told us all the best "last-minute" deals were posted every Monday morning and those deals were already taken since this was a Saturday morning. ALSO, these wonderful vacations are only good during "non-peak" season,  we asked to see the "off-peak" season chart.  There is not a "off-peak" season in the state of Florida!!  Once we decided that the package was not for us, THANK GOD, we asked for our free gifts.  We were handed a mail-incertificate for the FREE DVD player, which actually would cost you 100.00 for a 50.00 DVD, player if you were dumb enough to actually mail it in.  I have been reading over the free cruise vouchers, which are only good September-December, low season and inside cabins only.  FIRST you have to send in $50.00 by certified mail, then they will reply to you and tell you if any cruises they have available will fit your criteria.  Then there is the "reservation processing fee"  who  knows much this could be!!  There is also a $20-$50  cancelation fee if they give a date and it does not work for you.

I truly wanted this to be real but you know the saying: If it sounds to good to be true IT REALLY IS!   :(
