It's situations like this which reinforce my belief and advice to NEVER NEVER NEVER let the mortgage company escrow and pay either your insurance or your property taxes.   You place your most precious asset in the hands of people who are not capable of looking after the basics given the volume of loans being sold and their self interest in making money by not hiring enough properly trained people.

Even if you have to pay PMI, you can find a loan that will allow you to not escrow taxes and insurance.  I refinanced in July of last year and the loan was sold to GMAC who suddenly couldn't find my insurance.  The same insurance I'd had on the house forever and which is ALWAYS inforce and ALWAYS current because I have a bank autodraft set up to take the insurance payment out of my account and pay the insurance company directly every month.  I called them immediately and made sure they noted I had insurance on the account and then had my insurance agent fax proof to them.  I then called back to make sure they had it.

Be more specific or say a website of where these attorneys can be discovered, they want to defend & recoup their losses, we all grieve together over their prior emotional traumas having been thrust upon them by the Law Offices of David J. Stern, please review public law case: Acosta-v-Campbell (M.D. Fla. January 18th, 2006) This was a law case that went to a higher court brought by a married couple against The Law Offices of David J. Stern, (defendant). It is too bad they did not have an attorney. The alleged accusations brought (by the married couple: Mr. & Mrs. Acosta were stated as: Fraud, R.I.C.O., Racketeering, & so much more (28 pages)! It is sad that a lot of attorenys represented Mr. Stern in this court case, to get this dismissed for Mr. Stern, on what the judge's written opinion (that is opined) clearly implies and/or states failure of Plaintiff/aka/Mr. & Mrs. Acosta/ to prove what was alleged by this married couple. There was an article written about Law Firm Foreclosure Mills showcasing many cross-references of lawcases of which remain public record that clearly states: what has been happening..., oh how sad! There is also yet still another reporter in Florida/Tampa Tribune/Micheal Sasso (?) that wrote yet another cross reference newspaper article (public knowledge) referring to what is labeled by the general public at large is: a.k.a. /Lawfirm Foreclosure Mills listing: a name of: Law Offices Of David J. Stern stating just the facts (public records) of how many filings were done by this law firm also listing other lawfirms/ Default Law Group P.L. & Marshall Watson Lawfirm, etc. writing about issues of concern relating to what is being called: A Public Outcry, etc.! God Bless All Victims! We hope & pray for true justice for all & that the attorneys of any mis-justices are to be held legally accountable for any and/or all wrong-doings that they (are proven to have created) create!

well folks it seems that you can defeat gmac, the new attorneys for gmac filed for a hearing after i had the first one dismissed because they didnt show up. a day before the hearing i called the new attorny and she said she was doing a phone in, HELLO"""" she didnt tell me or the courts that so i said you didnt inform us and i intend to be there, what she ddint know was i was waiting for evidence from balboa to be faxed to me and so it was on the 22 of sept at 5pm balboa faxed me the proof yes in deed they messed up good they sent me their records showing that they paid my insurance on the 12 of may it was due on the 5th. at 5:10 a call came from gmacs attorny telling me that they were dropping the case and they wouldnt be pursueing it any more so now you say why well it seems the attorny for balboa was talking to gmac and said opps we goofed and sent this guy the evidence you are screwed! what this also says is gmac is engaged in the bussiness of fraud the courts are not going to like this very much. i have a new attorny now he is looking over the files and has told me there is so much fraud and wrong doing he cant belive it, we will be sueing gmac again and the attornys that were involved in the case. if you need an attorny iam sure richard will talk to you he is at daniels&daniels in pompano bch fla call them they seem to go balls to the wall on cases like this
