Go2Capital Cody Rich Fraud, Fake, Phony, cocky jerk Lehi Utah

I am tyring to get financing for a new business.  I filled out a report online then got a phone call from Cody Rich for a follow up.  He was short, cocky and took very little time to get to know anything about what I needed the money for.  I mistakenly took his cocky attitude for being very good at his job and supplied him with my information.  I asked him if he was going to do a soft or hard credit pull because I did not want my credit to be run at this time until I decided which lender I wanted to go with.  He said no credit would be run until I gave the word to send it to underwriting.  He then sent me a form to fill out via email (after I paid a $29 fee for his time). In the meantime I decided to go with a different lender because I was having second thoughts about Cody. 

I emailed Cody to let him know I did not want to pursue the loan with his company and a reminder not to run any credit at this time.  He emailed me back a very matter-of-fact email stating that my credit had already been pulled.  I was fuming.  I called his company and after several attempts, got to speak with him. He was rude, disrespectful and talked over me the entire time.  He said that I never told him not to run my credit.  I asked him if he recorded calls with customers and he said "why would I have to, I was there and I know what happened". I asked to speak with his supervisor, he said he is as high as it goes as he is the owner. 

I asked him how he keeps customers when he talks to people like this when there is a problem. He finally agreed to refund the $29, which at first he refused.  I asked how the refund will work.  He replied, "well, when you actually run a business some day you will understand how to process a simple refund". Because of him my credit score has now dropped several points, which may not seem like a big deal but, when you are trying to finance a business, it is the difference between getting and not getting a loan.  Cody Rich is a jerk.  He is in his business to line his pockets, not to help anyone finance their dreams.  Total scam artist and a LIAR.
