I have been looking for a blog designer, and happened upon Goddady.com. Their blogs were slick, not boring, and very easy to work with. They offered alot of services, to go along with their blogs. They offered the Quickblog, free, if you paid 1.99 for the domain name. Well, I paid the 1.99 for the domain, and I upgraded the blog to the economy quick blog, which is priced at 2.66 a month. It wsn't supposed to have a banner.

I questioned the banner, this monring, qand they said I needed to upgrade to the paid for blog, which I already did. But, they said I still needed to upgrade the blog, to the paid for blog, even after I had copied and pasted the recipet saying I had paid for a year of the economy quick blog. I emailed them three times, asking them what exactly I did pay for a year of, and what I paid for two years of. By now, I was very mad, and knew I'd been scammed. They tried to rip me off, but I can do math, and I could see that what I paid for was the exact same thing, as what popped up today, when I went to "upgrade" the quick blog. I emailed them three times asking what, exactly I paid for, and they emailed me back saying I hadn't paid for it, I needed to pay, even though I have the paypal receipt.

Looks like tomorrow I have to go to the bank and do a stop pay, or better yet, go through Paypal, and open up a dispute. I can see where GoDaddy.com has their problems, and needs those commercials to survive. Too bad I fed into them, and believed them, and took them at their words. Maybe GoDaddy.com are related to Dell computers! I did cancel my account, and I wonder when I'll ever see the refund they owe me.

GoDaddy response times

GoDaddy response times are very slow, but they will eventually get it done. If you purchase from GoDaddy be persistent and they will resolve it.

Dell Computers

AUTHOR: Nodaddyno - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2008

In response to you wondering if they (GoDaddy) is connected to Dell computers. They are. All computer terminals, monitors and mice in the GD call center are Dell's. Dell also offers an "employee discount" to GoDaddy employees.

Update to Godaddy complaint

AUTHOR: Rhonda - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 22, 2006

Godaddy was very kind, which they should've been, and made me an offer. I have decided to use Typepad, which is less confusing, and is more what I needed. Goddady.com were not prompt in getting back with me when I emailed them with questions, but they were right on it, when I posted a complaint here. Probably I should've called them in the first place, but I didn't. Godaddy's website is very confusing, but if you can get through all of that, then I'm sure they will be of service if you need them.
