On Sunday March 14, 2010, (in the wee hours of the morning) I decided to register a domain with Godaddy.  I have about 12 domains registered with them.  I entered the name aestheticdesigns.com in their domain search box and all the TLDs including .com, .org, and .net were available.

I hesitated making up my mind on the purchase because there were offering sale on some TLDs.

Thy then asked me to sign in.  I did and a confusing occurrence took place.

A banner with a handshake graphic advised me that aestheticdesigns.com, .org. and, .net is taken and that if I want them I have to pay $69.99 just to start the process to get them.

I checked, through godaddy, for the owners and found that DOMAINSBYPROXY just bought them.  I became suspicious and checked on the web and discovered that it was owned by godaddy.

When I began hosting with Godaddy, I recommended them to others because I was happy with the service.

I am hurt and angry that anyone could be so GREEDY and Bad-minded, UNETHICAL, DOG-MINDED!

I had a problem with them before.  I registered a domain with Wild West Domains and could not get it cancelled at all.  They kept renewing it even though the credit card info was outdated.  I searched and discovered that Wild West was owned by Godaddy, so I cancelled all the cards GodADDY had on file.

Wild West almost gave me a nervous breakdown.  They sent me emails and when I replied, they responded that they did not know that email address.  I called their number and they said I do not have authoritythey did some strange and cruel things to me.  I finally sent godaddy and email and they released me.

Let Bob know that he will die and leave that money.  I know that for sure.

They did something similar to me

I can't explain mine either...but after calling GoDaddy and talking to them about an upcoming expiration on a domain I'd watched for years, the deletion period passed, and on midnight of the night that it was available (I still don't know what time zone) one of their "partners" GRABBED it.  It was a domain with my name...not something generic...my name.  I'm an artist, and this is my brand!

They had to have known...and passed the information along to HugeDomains.com, who is now selling my "premium" domain at $1795.  I could've picked it up for under $10 under normal circumstances.

I can't explain what they're doing, but something is WRONG.  And the ICANN won't help...you have to pay them $1500 and choose a mediator even to file a complaint!

Domainsbyproxy hard to cancel!!

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 12, 2012
I started 3 domains for domainsbyproxy and had a good re pore with them, or so I thought. I changed my mind and wanted t cancel with them, that`s where the trouble began. Each time I entered my customer number in the log in field I got a "cannot be authenticated " readout. I tried several times to get a response from them and each time they sent me the same number with the same instructions. So my questions is what to do now??? I have called and written and e-mailed til my fingers started hurting! But there is a bright side! I get to do it all over tomorrow!!!

For someone who owns 12 domains you've got a lot to learn.

That domain has been registered since May, 2002... nearly 8 years before your attempt!

Whois info:

Domains by Proxy, Inc.
   DomainsByProxy.com
   15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353
   Scottsdale, Arizona 85260
   United States

   Registered through: GoDaddy.com, Inc. (http://www.godaddy.com)
   Domain Name: AESTHETICDESIGNS.COM
      Created on: 06-May-02
      Expires on: 06-May-14
      Last Updated on: 09-Oct-07

DomainsByProxy may be owned by GoDaddy, but do you know what they do? It's a service that enables domain owners to remain private. If you look at the whois info for some of my domains you'll see DomainsByProxy as well.

Unbelievable....
