This company sent my wife a check for $4980. The letter states that she was 1 of 20 winners of a $5 Million US dollars. Her winnings entitled her to $250,000.

There are several "red flags" in this letter. My wife is seldom on the computer. The company asks that she sends a Moneygram in the amount of $2995 US dollars to cover the applicable government taxes. The mailing address on the letterhead is different than the check address.

I hope that others read his and take note of the differences I have found. With the economy in such dire straights these days I feel the people involved in this are trying to take advantage of desperate situations. I hope they are brought to justice for their shady actions.
