Haverty's Furniture Switched Mattresses Sets On Delivery With Defective Mattresses Baton Rouge Louisiana

We purchased a NEW set of mattresses from Haverty's in Baton Rouge in July, 2008. After a few months, the mattress begin to sag in the middle. It was only recently that we went to purchase a new piece of furniture that we told the sales lady that we were having problems with the mattress and we were disappointed. She ordered a inspection at our home of the mattresses.

About a week later, a haverty's employee came to our home to inspect the mattresses and said that they were faulty. BUT, to our surprise, he also informed us that the mattresses were not the correct set that we had purchased. So in fact, Haverty's had placed the wrong set on our trailer at their warehouse. We had no idea that we had not gotten the correct set of mattresses.

When we were contacted by the customer service department, we were told that an investigation was being performed to be sure that our mattresses had come from their store. So basically, they were calling us liars and thiefs. All we wanted was what we paid for and a set that was not killing our backs.

Finally, after threatening to hire an attorney, we were told that they would replace the mattress only...so the box springs would not match now. There is a lot more to this story, but to be quite honest, I am sick to death of it and just wanted to let you know that HAVERTY'S are scammers! We are returning the defective merchandise and if we do not receive a full refund, I am charging back my credit card!
