Heart Check America I paid in full $4,495.00 for a 10 year contract for body scannings for my husband and myself once per year. arlington heights, Illinois

We paid in full the day (10/9/2010) we had our consultation for 4,495.00 for 10yrs of body scanning for myself and my husband.  My husband has been the only one that had a scan because I was pregnant at that time. My husband was going to go in again around October, 2011 only to find out numbers have been disconnected and offices had closed.  We received a letter that summer stating that the name of the company changed and there is a new number to contact, but when trying to call it is disconnected.  I;m again pregnant so I wasn't planning on having a scan done again, but it's horrible that we paid in full for a service that no longer exisits and no way of recovering our money. We are healty adults and we feel that we were scared into buying this program because of our families medical history (not our own), so to protect ourselves we invested in this. Being a young couple with young children and another on the way, we could have really used this money towards something more needed.   With money being tight and living very close to paycheck to paycheck, it saddens us that there are folks preying on peoples fears to buy into services that are non existent.
