I purchased an oversized Catnapper recliner from Home Gallery less than 2 years ago.  The BOLD print boasted of "life-time warranty" etc. etc.  The tiny print gave all the exceptions.

After less than 2 years, the wooden frame is broken. No one in our family is overweight (and, regardless it is a "Big nd Tall" recliner).  

Response from Customer Service to my inquiry:

       The parts are covered by the warranty.  But shipping, handling, and labor/repair expenses are not.

In other words, We will mail you some pieces of wood and you can put them together if you know how!  

Lessons learned:

 1) Read the tiny print

 2) Avoid Home Gallery Stores and Catnapper.
