Homecoming Financial is in the business of foreclosing on homeowners. In July 2004, my husband and I filed a chapeter 13 bankruptcy and as apart of the plan we included 4 months of back mortgage payments. We began to have trouble with Homecoming in January 2007. We received letters stating we owed all this money. Homecomings received regular payments from us and past-due payments from our bankruptcy trustee. Now they are trying to take our home from us. We missed one payment in August 2008 and we have made that payment since . We continously receive letters stating we are $4000.00-5,000.00 behind. We have copies of all our payments (cashier checks) You can never talk to the same person and you can never meet with anyone. We immediately filed for a Loan Modification because our loan is an ARMS but Homecomings turned us down and suggested we do a short sale. Where would we live if we did that. Something has to be done about them.
