Let me just start buy saying that this is not the first car I ever bought. Honda West has screwed my Husband and I over with my monthly payments, our finance lady "Claudia" made us sign an agreement which we looked over and knew every thing on the agreement was as we agreed. Then she ran after us while we where distracted by another employee explaining the benefits of our new vehicle and Claudia put another agreement form in front of us to sign, we figured it was because we split up the down payment to be 2 weeks apart and didn't even look at the second agreement form.
Right away Claudia asked us to give back the original form we signed. Now I got home looked at the 2nd agreement form I signed and it's $30 more payments a month. I went back to talk to Claudia and rudely she told me she doesn't have time for me today to come back another day. I'm an honest person and I expect people to treat me with the same honesty I provide to them. I had a horrible experience with Honda West.
Like I said there are many dealer ships out there that will treat you with respect and honesty and if you prefer to have that avoid stopping by Honda West!

Deal may not be done.

You may be able to get out of this deal by refusing to pay the rest of the down payment. Return the new car immediately. Technically you may be merely borrowing the car from the dealer until the complete down payment has been made. The main part of the contract is not in force until the specified down payment has been made.

Anna, next time, don't "figure", just ASK!

Anna,
Ultimately, it was you who signed the papers without reading them. Why didn't you just stop whomever else was talking and distracting you and ASK what is this?
After all, you already had a signed, done deal right?
Lesson learned.
