i went to honda west looking for a truck i found online it was a toyota tacoma with all the bells and whistles. I told them i had a trade in no cash and wanted to make a deal. After the company inspected my vehicle they said they had an offer that would cover the cost of my vehicle and i was exstatic to found out i qualified for the truck. I drove home two hours later without a phone call for two weeks when i found out my financing had not been approved but they had an alternative solution. I arrived at the dealership at night that day and was told there was no paperwork for me to sign and to come back the next night. i came back again the next night to be told there was no deal and that the dealership had not been approved for the truck and that my trade in was allready sold and that i could only get 21000 not the 30000 that i needed. they offered a truck that was no where near the quality vehicle i would want and did not inform me before i had arrived the change of status. I decided to not buy a vehicle but now its been 3 weeks and my vehicle that i have a loan out on still has not been paid which leaves me in limbo to what to do. Do not go there its not a good place to buy a car.

It is illegal for Any new or used car dealer to SELL YOUR TRADE in. UNTILL AFTER they get you approved on the car you are buying. I feel they are using this as a tactic to put FEAR in you that you will get NOTHING if you do not take the crappy deal they are now offering you.
Call up your lender that has the financing ion the trade in and ask them if that car loan has been PAID OFF. I bet they will say HELL NO. I feel that you should mention the name off the circus CLOWN that told you this LINE OF BS
I tell car buyers to NEVER EVER buy a car from the dealer or sales rep that you like. NEVER EVER DO THAT and here is why. If you go to a dealership and buy a car fzones car dealer or sales rep that you like, they know that you are not going to a dealer down the street to buy a car because you like the DEALER that you have used in the past.
Many dealerships across the country take advantage of the people that continue to come back to them time and time again. Each time you come back to them to buy your next car they can look into the computer knowing that you're not going to go anyplace else and place it a little bit deeper each time you come back and you do know what I mean when I say IT
When you buy a car from a dealership you like or when you buy a car from a salesman you like you put yourself in what I call the unsafe comfort zone. You never do business with somebody you like you never do that. You have to let them know that it's strictly business and if you don't like to deal JET up out of their office. When you spend your money it's not about friendship it's about business.
And by the way. The person that posted this report should contact the lender who has the financing for the car that you traded in and ask them if they've received a pay off from the dealership. In other words is the car that you plan to trade-in has the loan been paid off !!
If your trade in loan has not been paid off the dealership has not sold the car they're lying to you try to pressure you into buying a car in a deal that sucks canal water. Many dealerships across the country use this as a tactic as a tool to pressure you into a more profitable car deal for them.
I told people many times to get a copy of the credit application you filled out when trying to buy a car and here's the reason why. If you have a copy of the credit application you filled out and later six months down the road you contact your lender and ask them to send you a copy of the documents that they received from the dealership compare notes and here's why.
Many car dealerships to not want customers to have a copy of the credit application when buying a car. I'm talking about the credit application that you filled out when you try to get financing for the car that you desire. Then a few months down the road you contact your lender that financed the car that you bought from that dirty dealer and ask them to send you copies of the documents and information that they received from the dealership.
Compare notes a copy of the credit application you filled out when you bought the car and a copy of the information the dealership sent to the lender to get you financing on the car you bought. If those two documents do not match you and the finance company are a victim predatory lending better known as auto dealership fraud. When an auto dealership wires over fraudulent information over to the lender to get you approved dirty tactics behind your back it's called wire fraud.
If you bought a new car contact the auto manufacturer and ask him why you did not receive a CSI SURVEY. Many new car dealerships prevent consumers from getting the survey the reason they do that is to prevent you from telling the manufacture how poorly you think of the dealership that you bought the car from.
The dirty car dealers send fraudulent information about you such as False Contact information about you to the manufacture so the manufacturer cannot send you the survey. And if you are the typical car buyer, you don't care you never got the survey.
The problem is what happens if the auto manufacturer finds out that they have a safety recall notice and they cannot send that recall notice to you before you get in an accident or have major troubles. Many law firms would love to get a hold of a case where I could help them prove that the dealership prevented you from getting safety recall notices and you got into a car accident.
I tell people all the time never buy a car salesman or dealership
You are screwing yourself if you do. I live directly across the street from a sales rep who works at Larry Miller Toyota. And I know very well he hates ripoffreport.com because of his personal feelings about www.RipOffReport.com exposing the auto industry dirty tricks.
