After contacting the company and calmly trying to negotiate with them several times regarding the matter about their "party" bus I have gotten nowhere. They did not want to nor try to hear me out about my complaints with your bus. I will do what I have to do to get refunded some of my money back for experiencing such a rotten deal on my birthday. No one deserves to be treated low class if they're calling for such a high class service. That's what should have been delivered (high class service).. That dampens your company's reputation.

To answer a few of the questions that the owner of the company would not let me answer over the phone:

"Why did ya'll follow through and still use the service": Many of the ladies came down from out of town and I wasn't about to ask them to load up ladies and take their vehicles to our destination, because that was not the plan.

"Why did you wait to complain when it was time to get off the bus": We actually complained about the bus the moment we stepped on it. You just didn't hear the complaint, because it was all displayed towards the driver who unfortunately has to take the heat for you.

"Did you look at our website and see the bus": Yes, I did. How do you think I got your number? From your website. BUT, the website only shows the outside of the bus. It doesn't show the top of the black bus where the top is somewhat spray painted white. The website shows a black bus with nice clear doors, but the real party bus has rigged up clear doors being held together with wire that flap in the wind. The website does not show nor have a description that the bus has no heat, when it was 48 degrees outside (with a flapping door bringing in more cold air), exhaust fumes that nauseated everybody and had us all feeling queasy and dizzy, a dirty kitchen trash can in the back of the bus, a broken cooler w/ice and sodas, unorganized hanging Christmas tree lights, black felt covering the entire inside of the bus including most of the windows, therefore we had no view outside. The website doesn't show all that Robert and you failed to tell me that as many times as I spoke with you even before the pick-up.

I have a few questions for you (Robert, owner of the company): Why did you give me a false email to address my complaint to? Why did you not want to hear my complaint? Why would you put people's lives in danger, knowing the bus has exhaust issues? We could have died from carbon monoxide poisoning...the fumes were that strong inside. Why would you put your driver on a bus like that knowing he's going to have to "feel the rapture" from complaining customers once on the bus? Why would you put this bus on the road and label it a "Party Bus anyway?" Why are you trying to give me such a hard time, and not give me my money back? Do you care that we froze to death in 48 degree temperatures? Do you care that we were a bunch of ladies? Where are your morals? Do you care about your company's reputation.

This whole entire situation with your bus service was unfair to the driver, unfair to me, and unfair to the rest of the ladies. If you have any kind of heart, you would give me MOST of my money back for such a horrible experience on your so-called party bus. I will continue my complaints, because I would hate for anyone else to experience what I did for a special occasion.

NOT IN AGREEANCE

AUTHOR: LaQuanna - ()

POSTED: Monday, February 03, 2014

I don't agree with that. Owner is very argumentative, customer is NEVER right, and it's either his way or no way. He promised me 2 hrs., but then when it came to day of event he only gave me an hour in a half, because he said he had a more important function to deal with (wedding) after my little girls birthday party. He threatened me that he was going to have his driver turn around and not pick my daughter and all of her little friends up (who had been sitting there impatiently waiting) if I didn't tell him over the phone that i would have the kids dropped off back at my house within an 1 1/2. He promised me 2 hrs. free (to make up for his last screw up) and i told him i'd pay for 1 hr = 3 hrs. total time. Well, he changed ALL that up and the place we were going was a 2 hr event. IMPOSSIBLE. This guy, SMH. I'M SO DONE.

Is It Quality Service?

AUTHOR: Ronique - ()

POSTED: Monday, November 25, 2013

 Good Afternoon!

I'm going to assume that you are the owner of said company, being that you have taken time to respond to the report as listed. Any who. All though the services where used, the Party Bus should have been up to standards. You where paid and you have no problem with that. Had you not been paid for the services you would have been highly upset. So being that LaQuanna, felt it right to pay you and accept services provided due to her having a party and she wanted to ensure the safety of her guess instead of having everyone drive their own vehicles. As I'm sure you are very well aware that when people have parties and go out (while renting driving services) that is their intentions to ensure the safety so no one in the party will be drinking and driving. I know you do understand this. But anyway....reading your response it's like you could care less about anyone. Since you are equipting transportation services you should care. You never know who people know. Word of mouth has a way of hurting established / unestablished business. This showed poor customer service and conduct of low business class. And to think it seems that you are happy cause you feel like you have accomplished something.

I was an attendant with this party. The services where very unprofessional, and I would think someone of your statue would not like to portrait such a thing.

Always remember you never know who your "clients" may know.

Dear Unanimous owner

Unanimous Author (Robert),

The only mistake I made was using your service. You made plenty mistakes too. Remember you sent the driver to the wrong house? (That's just 1 of the many).

I've always used limo services and NEVER have I gotten let down until I used your service. I hope everyone reads what you posted, "You get what you pay for" that says a lot about you and your company. That (you get what you pay for) is just a cop out and it's no good for business practice.  If I was charging someone $321 dollars just to pick them up and drop them back off, you best believe they will be riding in class. I probably should have called a taxi. I'm sure the cab looks 100 times better than your party F-class bus, and we wouldn't have frozen to death. You shouldn't have a license to operate your business. It is unsafe and unsanitary. Like I stated in my earlier complaint, it was too late for me to make other arrangements to accommodate that many ladies therefore I DID NOT and COULD NOT deny the ride. We had an appointed time to be at the location to where we were going at 8:30. The bus arrived at 8 and was supposed to arrive at 7:30. So we only had 30 minutes to make it to our destination, and no time to make other arrangements. The driver (Chris) was very nice about everything, but it's sad that he had to use his cell phone as a GPS device which had him/us lost. If you know none of my expectations were met, how can you just brush it off like "Oh well, you used the service" that's bad business. I think everyone looks for the best prices when it comes to purchasing anything. Actually your price was not the best I found. I could probably bet that the other companies that I found at a reasonable price had a much nicer service to offer.

You act like I didn't call you and complain at all. Like I said in my earlier post we complained the moment we got on the bus. On the way back I phoned you with my complaint. I was trying to be respectful and wait to contact you and discuss with you my complaint. When I did call you on our way back, you asked me to call you on Monday so that we could hash out the issue. On Monday, you didn't want to talk about it and acted like someone was trying to get over on you when the real truth is you're the one getting over on people (consumers) that use your service. Look at the complaints filed on the BBB and on Rip-off reports. This is not the first time someone was upset or complained about your party bus. Come on now.

So the issues that I complained to you about you just pretty much ignored. The false advertisement, the exhaust fumes (health hazard), no heat, broken door, dirty trash can, covered windows, unprofessional GPS device (cell phone), etc. All you get out of that is well you should have refused service…Really?

You cannot compare your poor service with the business world, because we're clearly talking about your business Houston Affordable Limo Service not any other business. So that proactive response against such complaints crap is irrelevant in this scenario. My complaint is legitimate. I first of all didn't even demand a full refund of all my monies. I simply said half or more than half. I think that was reasonable and fair. If a consumer's complaints are legit and justifiable, yes I think they and the business should be able to come up with some sort of solution and get at least some of their hard earned money back. Each time I contacted you, I never displayed a nasty attitude. I was calm, I was cool and I did not get out of line with you in any way during our conversations. I kept it professional while you kept cutting me off telling me you didn’t want to hear what I had to say and to put it in writing. That still doesn't make it okay to give me a phony email address after you asked me to put my complaint on paper. I had to go through other means to get my messages to you since you wouldn't give me an accurate address to send my complaints to. I've never heard of a company not wanting to deal with complaints…just you, because you don’t want to face reality. Most companies want to know what their customers/consumers are complaining about so that they can fix the issue. You on the otherhand just don't want to deal with it and laugh all the way to the bank as you juke people out of their money everyday. Again, poor morals and bad business practice.

This proofs that he is out to get people for their money. He said "they (which is he, Robert) already have my money and DO NOT have to give it back," so I'm pretty much screwed. He goes on to say you can rant and post all you like, but it won’t change the fact that he already has my money…HOW UNPROFESSIONAL AND INCONSIDERATE IS THAT? He says I'm fighting a losing battle. No, I'm not fighting a losing battle, because many people will read this post and know to walk away. Thanks for showing us your true colors…EXPOSED.

Reading other complaints I see that you like to go back and forth with consumers. I don't have time for that, but I will get my point across. I just want to make EVERYONE in HOUSTON and surrounding areas aware of this company, because they don't care about you all they care about is your money as you can see from the owners post. Houston Affordable Limo Service aka Party Bus and Limo Service Houston is a low class joke.

unfortunate

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

POSTED: Monday, November 25, 2013

Its unfortunate that you believe you had a bad experience. But let me be the first to point out to you that you have made a few mistakes. Firstly, you should have denied the ride. You should have done a cursory inspection before any of your guests embarked on the bus. Second, YOU USED THE SERVICE. Yes it may have been your birthday. Yes you had expectations. Yes it sounds like none of those expectations were met. You ALWAYS get what you paid for. If you did a web search and settled on the cheapest that met your needs then thats on you.

Heres the issue. You used the services. That pretty much negates ANY refund. Had you refused the bus when it arrived, then you would have had a bit more of a leg to stand on. Its unfortunate but since you DID use the services you probably will not see a refund. In the business world it is very COMMON FOR A CONSUMER TO USE A PRODUCT OR SERVICE THEN DEMAND A REFUND BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT HAPPY FOR WHATEVER REASON. Its so common in fact that companies have started a proactive response against such complaints.

See the American consumer seems to feel they are entitled to refunds when in reality they are not. The self entitled nature of the consumer partnered with the usual nasty attitude tends to make it so companies no longer wish to deal with complaints. Hence why he probably gave you a phoney email address. They already have your money, they are under ZERO obligation to get it back. You can rant and post all you like, but it still wont change that they have the money.

Since they have to have a liscence to operate their business, you can try the "Taxi authority" but they will tell you the same thing. You used their services and then complain afterwards. Pretty much means youre fighting a loosing battle. Good Luck.
