Do not buy the Husky Power Washer. It is made poorly and will not last more than a few hours. I bought the model H1600 for around $100 at Home Depot, the distributor of this product. I was able to wash my vinyl siding but the next time I used it, the wand started leaking so much that I had to stop. At first I thought there was a problem with the wand it self or the valve and trigger assembly. I noticed the water pressure had no place to go when the trigger is not being pressed, and was putting a big pressure load on the valve in the wand. This caused the hose to leak where it goes into the wand and spray water all over me. A closer inspection inside the main unit revealed a broken pressure relief valve. It's function is to switch off the pump when it sees that the back pressure is too high (when the trigger is not pressed). The valve is almost entirely made of plastic. It just fell apart and the loose parts were rolling around inside the main unit. I guess I could use but I would have to shut the power washer off at the main switch each time I let go of the wand's trigger. So this machine is a Chinese-made piece of crap, typical of many of the products that Home Depot sells. Try to find items there made in the USA if you can find any.
This is how we have sold our country (USA) to the Chinese and others. It has been going on for some time now. Products made in the USA are limited to military items only it seems. Many of us are out of a job and little manufacturing is being done in America. Get rich quick, who cares about quality! So if you have an American made product or old American car hold onto it. It will soon be very collectable if it isn't already!
