I checked my credit card statement and found an entry for "hwa illinois corp." I have never knowingly signed up for a Home Warranty and did not authorize this charge. It is for $15.99 and has been giong on for quite some time under my radar.

I should not that I am an IT Professional for almost 10 years, so I am trained to be cautious of everything I am doing on the internet. I do not follow links outside my email, install software with my downloads, or visit suspect sites without knowing what I am getting in to.

Any company that is willing to charge money for a service without concent should be investigated by the authorities and shut down. Any company who does not report any kind of dealing in writing to their customers should be investigated by the authorities.

These are not best practices by big business. These are deceptive practices at best by companies who just want to make money without providing any kind of service. If I had a claim I wouldn't have even known who to report them to.
