Was approached by this company and after several grillings from myself and my spouse and the asssurance that we were guaranteed a FULL refund if our timeshare sold via another outlet, we agreed to them SENDING us a contract to review. They immediately charged our credit card $249, without receiving a signed contract back from us.

We then sold our unit through another on-line agency (For FREE!!!) and I have spent the last two weeks phoning and faxing these people trying to get refund status or any information at all. We are constantly getting a "Mailbox Full" message and I have paid twice to fax the documentation to assure us a refund. They are ducking and hiding and I am positive they have caller ID, so that when they see it is "Us" again, they transfer us to some hokey "Mailbox Full Mesage".
At this point I do not care if I have to spend money to get a lawyer to get our money back - I am so ticked off at these losers I will do it anyway just to make them live up to the TAPE-RECORDED promise they made in our phone conversation.

Funny how you continue to contradict yourself.

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Talking in circles? Half-truths? I clearly pointed out how you managed to do so. Not only did you omit information, make false claims (as to what it doesn't say on our website, which is pretty easy for any educated consumer to find was there the whole time), accused us of lying about your refund, then after you confirmed we in fact WERE NOT, continued to slander us, which again proves you are just one of those people that CANNOT be pleased no matter what you do for them.

Furthermore, of course we are going to defend ourselves as a company, it's human nature, BOTTOM LINE, OVER AND OUT, and save Amen for sunday service.

But everybody knows anybody can come on to websites like these or redweek or wherever else and CLAIM to be a customer, CLAIM to have a bad experience, CLAIM to be an ex-employee, just as easily as they can CLAIM to have sold their property themselves or by another company, CLAIM to have a good experience, CLAIM ANYTHING pretty much. It's the internet. There's no background checks or polygraphs validating what ANYBODY says in the digital world. So continue on with your negative campaign if you will, but we open our doors willingly to anybody who would like to come into our office (with or without notice) and see our buyer database. WE HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE.

Go away already

AUTHOR: Buchanan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 20, 2007

Geeze - Give it up already. Did you not see the posting where I updated that I finally received confirmation of your refund??

If you guys spent half as much time marketing properties as you do trying to defend your soiled reputation on message boards like this one and RedWeek.com you guys might actually sell something once in a while.

All your responses further prove that you guys have not mastered Time Share Sales.....You have however mastered talking in circles and telling half truths.
Run for President instead.
Now GO AWAY.

As a consumer I have every right to follow up on promises made to me and services I have paid for.
Bottom Line.
Over and Out.
Amen.

Forgot to mention the money-back guarantee...

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 19, 2007

*IBD-Marketing will refund 100% of your advertising fee if your timeshare is sold by any other company at your listed price upon presenting proof of sale.*

If you click on where it says "Money Back Guarantee" on the website, that is stated in the first sentence. You claim it says that nowhere on there.

Also, if it were so easy to "type in some information on a website", why wouldn't we have you create your own ad? If it really is that simple, why are you using websites such as this one as opposed to creating your own? And do you understand the website is merely used as an introductory to timeshare? Most people do not use the internet for the intent of purchasing a timeshare property.

You obviously never even visited your advertisement there either, or you would've seen at the bottom in BOLD letters, "this is for the sale of week 42 and/or 26! Make Best Offer Today!". Yet again you claim we never did.

Your $ has been refunded, and we've proven ourselves, just as you have proven your own character as well.

We did what we said we would-refunded you, yet you're still not satisfied. How else can we help you?

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

The letters IBD would obviously stand for Integrated(I) Business(B) Dynamics(D). IBD shortens it up. It's not a DBA, it's called an abbreviation. That's pretty self explanatory however. Obviously you can see here after providing this particular individual with everything they asked for (refund included, not to mention they were emailed a copy of their refund receipt which again they chose to omit in their attempts to slander the company) they are still not satisfied, which just goes to show you can't please everybody. You will find this statement to be true with just about anywhere you shop whether it be in an actual store or on-line, that is why most people these days are smart enough to form their own opinions and not just durogatory statements they find on the internet. They also asked who I was, it clearly says "EMPLOYEE" at the top of the post. My actual position in the company is irrelevant, and maybe the fact that they've never spoken to me proves that we have positions that don't involve working on the phones, but the actual marketing of properties.

As far as the BBB is concerned, not everybody feels the necessity to pay them for a reputation. Of course our rating with them is constantly going up and down, again just shows you can't please everybody, no matter what you do for them. A more informed source of information would be sunbiz, which shows we have been in business under the same name for 7 years.

Try and find that on any other company similar to ours and you will see there arent many. Consider there may be a reason we have managed to successfully operate for 7 years, as the average resale company can't seem to stay open for more than 2 without the Department of Agriculture shutting them down, or them running themselves out of business from having to refund so many customers for not doing what they say they will do. Let common sense be your guide in these sort of matters.

We are among the few lucky ones

AUTHOR: Buchanan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, November 19, 2007

Just received notification today from my CC Company that IBD has credited the original charge to our card.
Wow!
The staggering number of complaints that I have come across on both consumer and TimeShare Websites (specifically naming IBD and their practices) makes me grateful for our refund.

Buyer beware -- I checked for IBD at the Better Business Bureau when we were first contacted by them and found nothing --- That is because they are actually listed under "Integrated Business Dynamics, Inc.", a DBA of course that you will not find anywhere on letterhead, web or paperwork.

You are still lying Jami

POSTED: Friday, November 16, 2007

#1 - This matter has not been resolved. I will believe your promises of a credit when I actually see proof of it on my statement. Just because you left a message on my answering machine saying you would do so does not mean you have actually done so yet....Guess I will post another update when I actually see that you have refunded us.

#2 - and I quote you exactly here: "Secondly, you SIGNED a written copy of the contract as well which stated everything that was said in the verification process."
CHECK YOUR RECORDS before you shoot your mouth off - you NEVER received ANYTHING signed from us. Period. Your customer service rep even stated that to me on the phone.

#3 - Your contract and your web site states clearly that there is a 100% money back guarantee if solf by another company. Could have sold it to my neighbors dog for $1 - doesn't matter- I still have your 100% money back gaurantee. (By the way --"Sold for the 'asking price' is NOWHERE on your contract or web -site)

#4 - Where do you get off saying that we asked you to market at $14,000 ??? That was a hilarious amount of money decided by your company - we got a good laugh out of that - Play the tape, you will HEAR us laughing, thank you. You all need to get your head out of the clouds as to what these time shares are REALLY worth. That is half of the problem in all of these complaints against YOU and companies like you.

#5 - Can you please shed some light on why you have a grade of "F" with the better business bureau? Hmmmm...maybe I know what I am talking about, huh?

#6 - Also in the "taped conversation" you refer to, if you LISTEN you will hear that there was actully TWO seperate weeks that we own to be listed. You never even bothered to send a contract for the second week or list it. You mention your advertising costs in your rebuttal. Seriously - how much does it cost exactly to do nothing but type in some information on your web-site and end it there. You and I both know IBD Marketing uses the term 'advertising' pretty loosely. I could have gotten better results putting a 3x5 card on the bulletin board at the local grocery store.

And, to wrap this up dear Jami...I have NEVER spoken to you...so who are you?
Show me proof of our refund, because until I see it on my statement even that is a lie.

$ WAS REFUNDED, SO WHO IS THE REAL SCAM HERE??

AUTHOR: Jami - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 16, 2007

First off, we will gladly play your verification tape for you where we specifically state all the terms and conditions where you are asked if you clearly understand them MORE THAN ONCE. You agreed. Secondly, you SIGNED a written copy of the contract as well which stated everything that was said in the verification process.

You agreed that if your property was sold by another company FOR THE ASKING PRICE (which you asked us to market it at $14,000 asking, and $6,000 firm) you would received a refund. You sold it for only $500, which are just barely your maintenance fees. So YOU breeched your own contract yet we went ahead and refunded you your $249.50 anyway.

I find it amusing how quick you are to omit very pertinent information regarding this matter, yet delayed to inform the general public that the matter has been resolved. And as far as "hokey voicemail boxes" (which is inevitably impossible) and "dodging" of your calls, you and I both know how ridiculous that sounds for an entire company to refuse to answer their phones the sake of $249.50 which isn't even close to the advertising costs nor vn the salary of 1 customer service rep, not to mention had you let us know you would let it go for $500 we would have bought it ourselves!
