Illinois Tollway Falsley sent me a toll charge Illinois

I was sent a toll charge from the Illinois tollway for a vehicle that I sold over three years ago. Since I have sold the vehicle it has had two differnet owners and different license plate. I called the tollway and told them about this. They said that they did not make these kind of mistakes and it was on Minnesota end. I find it hard to beleive three years two different owners that it is on Minnesota end. I talked to an indvidual pretty high up at the Minnesota department of vehichle services and he indicated that their was no way this could happen because they update their information weekly. I then reached out to Illinois Tollway and explained this to them and asked them to look into it on their side to make sure nothing wierd was going on they said they would not do that. The fact that Illinois Tollway would not even consider looking into this makes me wonder if there is fraud and coruption within the tollway system. I estimate with my time, milage and fees that I have put into fighting this nonsese cost me around $1,000
