Imperial Moving and Storage DO NOT USE New York New York

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
They are unprofessional scam artists. I had a move scheduled for 2-4 pm on a Tuesday. When no one showed up to move me ( after my entire apt. had been packed up into boxes) I called and was told " I yeah, we see you made a deposit for the move but for some reason it wasn't in our books, we will get people there right away)."  Well, they did not show up until it was too late for my building to start the move and I had to stay home again the next day for the move.   

Now , onto the fraud part. I was quoted $550 dollars on my contract, signed that. Then for my troubles was promised $200 off ( bringing it to $350). The day after the move I noticed my credit card was charged $700 and the contract total had been changed without my consent. Illegal.    

Oh and did I mention that my living room couch was ripped in two places? Yes, it was. 

After calling the company to deal with all of this and basically being given the run around, they stopped accepting my calls. So now I will be suing them in small claims court.
