As I said earlier I don't know why this customer did not tell the complete story. i thorouhly explained in full detail what I was going to do.  He said ok. And watched everything that was done  the job took way more than 20 mins closer to @ 60-90 mins  also he was not solicited by a cold call we had had a prev appt in 2011. we dont do cold calls.  There is absolutely nothing on the Bbb web site that corroborates anything he is claiming.   i would not risk my Bbb A rating on a job for $603 dollars. And if he felt I didnt do the job (which he watched us perform) he would have not payed us $300  

I do believe he felt he payed too much.  And being that I always got out of my way to please a customer I agreed to take $300 instead of the orig $600. Again as far as him hearing a conversation between myself and my helper describing a story I was discussing  certainely has no bearing on the job done.  And if listened to the complete conversation he would have realized I was discussing a situation completely unrelated to anything that had anything to do with him or the work performed.   Anyone else would have hung up and not eavesdropped and assumed something completely unrelated to anything to do with him.  Anyone would have ended the call and thought nothing of it

I arrived at this customers house-- he told me he had cancelled the appt the day earlier-- I certainely would not have driven 50 minutes to an appt if I knew they had cancelled.   He agreed to have me do the job. I also reccomended that he clean and screen the vents on the roof  the total came to $603. Later that day he called saying I had ripped him off. He also said that he heard me talking to my helper. I was actually telling a story to my helper.  Above and beyond that he asked me if 300 would be ok I said ok mailed him his check back and he sent me a new One. i don't know why none of that was mentioned. There is always 2 sides to a story. his house was very old olans needed everything I did. Not one thing that was paid for was not properly done.  The biggest issue is that he listened to me telling my helper a story and turned that into something of a completely alleged falsehood. And why would someone listen to someone else's phonecalls. I carry an A rating with the. BBB and get many refersls from the BBB. we always do a great job ...there is no story on the better business bureau anywhere close to what this person is claiming.
