I I asked Imperial Services to only clean my laundry dryer vent for the advertised price of $69.00. On June 2,2011 two men arrived-one went to clean the vent and the other acted in a "supervisory capacity".Instead I got talked into paying a total of $1,052 [less $69] is for work and associated components to prevent problems he sees are needed for the house and roof. I kept saying no continuously but he kept bombarding me and would not listen. His persistent, belligerent attitude frightened me and my wife.I am 89 and she is 88 years old. Several months later I was finally able to get my very busy former contractor who completely remodeled this house and arranged for a new roof less than 2 years ago to survey this situation. His comments stated that the house and roof did not need whatever little work may have been done and certainly does not need any more repair as claimed the "supervisor.

The customers were asked if I could call a son or daughter to okay the job as it was a big job and they were a bit older they told me not to be ridiculous and that they make their own financial decisions. I never said they needed roof work i said the ducts in the attic needed attention. So of course when their roofer came there would be nothing wrong. they were completely confused on what was done and agsin they gave the ok. The job took nearly 6 hours one day and 3 the next
