I completed emarket research group's 6 offers(2 from each of the 3 offer pages) about eight weeks ago to receive a free $500 gift certificate. The status for 4 offers show up as completed while the other two don't. I have sent numerous emails to the company regarding this and have not got any reply to them yet. I have proof of purchase for all the items purchased thru emarketresearchgroup.
I also noticed that since last week, the status page has been displaying that 3 of the 4 offers that show up as completed are from page1. In fact, I chose only 2 from each of the 3 pages. I believe this is one of their strategies (not to mention illegal), to defraud the customer. I am planning to go the entire distance and do whatever it takes to ensure this company fulfills the agreement.

#17 UPDATE Employee
In Response to Receiving a Check
AUTHOR: Holly - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, February 24, 2005
To Whom It May Concern:
As an employee of Incentive Reward Center, I would like to inform each of you why we occasionally send a check in place of a gift in which you have qualified for.
If the item is on back order we will sometimes replace the gift with a check so you do not have to wait any longer. However, if for some reason you do not wish to receive a check in place, please notify us via our customer service number (1-866-301-7260) and make arrangements to return the check. We will then enter your information back into our system and wait for the product to arrive. When it does, we will ship it out to you.
Again, the checks we mail out are meant to better serve you, as we understand waiting can be frustrating. We appreciate your business and enjoy your gifts!
Thanks,
Holly

Can they learn your bank account from the canceled check they sent you?

I am worried about this company sending out a check instead of a gift card. Can the company engage in identity theft by receiving their canceled check back and seeing the bank account of the person who cashed the check? Just a concern. I think they may be just moving on to a bigger and better scam.

Got it. Finally!!!!

I got a check for $500 from IncentiveRewardCenter last night. Finaaaaaalllllly!!! They sent an apology note for not being able to send the $500 gift card that I had signed up for. I'm more than happy with the check. I think they are definitely not a fake, but it takes lot of patience and plenty of pestering to get the gift. I guess that's their business model. I'm sure there are quite a few who would not want to or have the time to keep calling them. I would think that's all going to the company's benefit- "cha ching..". But I was quite persistent and made several calls and after I added my complaint here in ripoffreport, I immediately got calls from them.
The funny thing is it doesn't feel like a 'FREE' gift now. After going thru the hastles it feels like I really really deserved and earned this one.

I got a call from IncentiveRewardCenter and it appears that I will be getting the gift in 5 weeks. I have been extremely patient with this as have so many others who are waiting for their gifts. I hope I don't have to wait any more than the 5 weeks.

I am extremely FRUSTRATED and angry that the status has not been changed yet. I was holding off on filing the complaint and waited for more than a week but I don't believe they are going to change the status. I just filed a complaint with FL AG's office. Will let you know when I hear more from them.

So right after I filled this report, "Eddie" calls me on the telephone and tells me that everything will be taken care of as soon as possible. He said my status will be updated to "qualified" RIGHT AWAY, and says my ipod will be shipped soon.
MY STATUS HAS STILL NOT BEEN CHANGED. Is there a phone number I can call to report this? I'm really frustrated right now, and will do ANYTHING to ensure that my ipod gets delivered as soon as possible.

incentiverewardcenter.com = SCAM!
AUTHOR: Raghu - (U.S.A.)

I completed all 6 required offers on this website (2 from each page), however it showed one of the offers as being incomplete. I have emailed and called REPEATEDLY, but nobody has called me back, and the one time they did email back was to direct me to the status webpage. Absolutely ridiculous. I need a phone number to call to report this scam.

My wife is going through the same thing your going through. The correct fax number is 516-981-5269. When you do fax them ask them to waive the Security Verification Process. Hopefully this will get you a gift redemption voucher.
Good Luck

Got a call from IncentiveRewardCenter with a phony fax number
AUTHOR: Siva - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 17, 2005
I got a call from someone by name Eddie from IncentiveRewardCenter who asked me to fax the proof of purchase for the 2 offers that do not show up as completed. But the fax number he gave me 561-981-5265 is actually an Office Depot phone number. These guys are nothing but scam artists. I'm writing a letter to the Florida Attorney General's office to let them know of this company's fraudulent business acts.
